Deep Creek Hot Springs
Please stop leaving your trash at the creek!!!! There is no garbage service down at the creek!!! Pack out what you pack in!!! People are tired of picking up after people who are to lazy to pick up after themselves!!! If you can't have the decency to leave the place how it was when you first got there or better you have no business going and ruining the place for everyone else!!!! There are brain eating Amoeba's in the water do not dunk your head in the creek or the springs and there is a huge black timber rattle snake that has made it's home there and is in different locations every time I go . The hike is brutal . When you leave you are going back up a very steep grade and it takes twice as long to hike out as it does to hike in . It's almost impossible to carry enough water seems like... If you can get past all of that then ya it is a nice place to go but plan just for the day they are cracking down on people camping out.. it is a day use only area .
A small but important note for visitors: please make sure to wear proper footwear with ankle support, such as boots or high-top shoes. Some uphill and downhill paths have loose gravel, and running shoes can be quite slippery. Staying safe will make the experience much more enjoyable
Moderate 6-mile round trip to secluded hot springs. Park at the gate, hike past waterfalls, and soak in the pools. Best in cooler months—summer gets crowded. Bring a towel and water shoes.
It was a fun experience but just got to say dont bring kids its not really family material lol dont think you want your kids seeing naked people around lol not for kids but had a good time
We had a wonderful time! The hike was intense, but we hiked in 53 minutes, out in 59 minutes! Such a beautiful place and the people are respectful, so have manners yourself! 😊 …

Make a day of it — a quick-dry towel, dry bag, and post-soak layers take almost no pack space.
