Glen Ivy Hot Springs

Technically, I can't speak for any of the services or rooms since I only went for the pools and baths, but this place was really worth the trip. It's 75 per person during the week, 95 for Saturdays and 85 for Sundays. There's more charges for other services like the spa services and massages. Food and drink are, of course, extra charges, as well. We really got our money's worth, though, and we were there from 10am to almost 4pm trying out and relaxing in all the baths and pools around the site. There was a clay bath, a mineral bath, lap pool, several normal pools, a saline bath, a Roman bath, a vista pool, a cold plunge and hot plunge combo, and a nice lounge pool where you could lay on floaters and just chill out. You could rent robes for something like 30 bucks, or you could just use a towel for free, and they had an abundance of towels everywhere. The pools were all perfectly controlled, and it was such a nice day out that I never felt uncomfortable in just my bathing suit. For lunch, we grabbed some food at the Ivy Kitchen - we shared the nachos, the burger, the pizza, and the taco trio. Surprisingly, it was the nachos that was the best part of the ensemble, but it was a nice amount of food to share between three people. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would totally come back with friends or more of my family! Glen Ivy Hot Springs was an amazing experience from start to finish. The online reservation process was simple, and check-in was swift and easy, which made the day start stress-free. The bathhouse is separated by gender, very clean, and well organized. As someone in healthcare, cleanliness and hygiene matter a lot, and Glen Ivy did an excellent job. The bathhouse includes free lockers, sauna, Roman spa, showers stocked with spa products, hair dryers, and many thoughtful extras that make the visit comfortable and relaxing. We did the Grotto experience, and it was truly relaxing and memorable. After that, we explored the different hot springs—from natural mineral pools to contrast therapy and lap pools. Each one had its own charm. The mud experience was also fantastic and something we will definitely repeat. The food menu is “guiltless” with many options for different dietary preferences. The vegan nachos were amazing, and the beverage selection, including wines, was extensive. We went for Valentine’s Day, and it was a beautiful, peaceful day with my wife Yanira. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone needing a relaxing reset.

Went to the Ivy restaurant and ordered the Mediterranean bowl. It’s vegan (which is appreciated), but bland as heck and void of all flavor. White, plan rice with unseasoned cucumber, 1 1/2 cherry tomatoes, lightly baked (?) tofu again without seasoning, a “vegan tzatziki” which my friend said tasted like straight garlic sauce and which i thought just tasted like barely seasoned mayo. Then a dash of (?) parsley to top it off. It was disappointing because looking around, the other dishes looked so enticing. It feels like no one knows how to cook well enough to make vegetables taste good here. The drinks at this resort also suck- $12+ for super sugary watered down alcohol, like you’d get at an all-inclusive resort. But the pools were great, mud was awesome, locker rooms were clean and busy (could do with better accessibility to the bath house, as the hallway is really skinny and was really hard to walk with two directions/paths, especially with high traffic). I imagine that aspect is not very ADA friendly. Anyways, I’d go back, but I’d plan better for those few aspects.

Loved this place many years. The last 2 times I’ve been there, I got a cabana. The day after my visit I noticed my card had charges that did not belong to me! After days of dealing with the management I found out one of the patrons in the Same cabana had the Same first name as me. The cabana attendant charged the wrong card several times for cocktails and food the other patron ordered! This happened another time in the spa. They are not careful and just hand a receipt to sign ! The patron would have not even noticed! I can’t trust this place with my personal information anymore so I am no longer going! I loved the services in the spa and the beautiful grounds but after two weeks of dealing with trying to fix this issue twice in two years, I decided it’s too risky! I also cut my foot on one of those visits in the sulfur tubs on a tile that was sharp. It was just shy of needing stitches! They still would not close the tub even after I reported the sharp tile and I bleed all over the tub inside and outside . Very disappointed!

I would have loved to leave a good review for this facility but I wasnt even able to talk to someone there. I called early and went through an overly long phone tree, waited on hold and then requested the call back service. I waited 2 hours and then sent an email to their customer service requesting someone to call back. I kept getting messages from a concierge there saying they had a high volume of calls, ok…. I waited all day. It is now 5:50pm, they are closed and I received no call back, no assistance at all. I wanted to schedule over $1000 of service there and was very excited to celebrate at this spa. Now I am disheartened that I couldnt even talk to someone to ask literally a few questions about services that were a bit ambiguous online. Im really disappointed. I can understand being busy but not to never receive a call at all or any follow up email from the so called concierge after we went back and forth. Do better. Why would anyone want to waste their time or money when they cant even ask a question.
