Grover Hot Springs Pools

My family and I recently visited **Grover Hot Springs**, and it was an **absolute delight**! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the **natural beauty** of the area—towering pines, crisp mountain air, and the soothing warmth of the mineral-rich pools. ### **The Pools Are Amazing!** There are **two main pools**: one **hot** (around **102-104°F**) and a **cooler** one for refreshing dips. The hot pool was **perfectly relaxing**, with smooth, mineral-rich water that left our skin feeling great. The contrast between the two made for a fantastic experience—we’d warm up, then cool off, and repeat! ### **Beautiful & Peaceful Environment** The setting is **serene and well-maintained**, surrounded by mountains and trees. Even though there were other visitors, it never felt crowded, and the atmosphere was **calm and family-friendly**. Our kids had a blast splashing around, and we loved just floating while taking in the views. ### **Great Facilities** The changing rooms and showers were **clean and functional**, which made the visit comfortable. There’s also a **picnic area** nearby, so we brought lunch and enjoyed it outdoors afterward. ### **Final Thoughts** If you’re looking for a **relaxing, nature-filled hot springs experience**, Grover is a **must-visit**. Whether you’re soaking sore muscles, enjoying family time, or just unwinding in a stunning setting, this place delivers. We’ll **definitely be back**!

Outdoors. No lockers. Unisex changing room. Outdoor shower. Water is extremely hot near exhaust ports; blackened cement indicates locations. Water is typically yellowish green. Reservations can be made online for 1.5 hr increments at $10 per person. Lifeguards are present. Ramped entrance.

CLOSED Save yourself a trip. They’re closed because they’re looking for a new lifeguard, and the hiring process is taking a long time (that’s what a staff member said). Don’t trust the schedule shown on google maps, they likely won’t reopen before march, according to the staff member.

Went there with the ex-wife in the winter of '73 or '73. At least a foot of snow on the ground and a bit of a hike from the old parking lot. Might have been 2-3 other people was there. Was pretty rustic then, but now it's "regulated"

$28 for 2 people with 1 changing room for everyone is very expensive. It used to be cheaper and the service was better. I recommend Carson City Hot Spring.
