Morton's Warm Springs
Private events can hire this springs complex with 2 mineral pools & lawns in a forest setting.
Morton Warm Springs is like stepping into paradise. There are two large pools (and a baby pool) fed by a nearby geothermal springs so they are very warm - no shivering kids over here! It feels so nice and cozy, and I love that there are no yucky pool chemicals! The setting is idyllic - full of beautiful trees and mountains with cute chirping birds, and there are literally beautiful butterflies and dragonflies flying around, popping by to say hello! Don’t bother bringing snacks or a picnic because they’ve got you covered! The cafe selections are very intentional and you can tell they have taken a lot of care to choose the best local suppliers. They have delicious organic food that’s both friendly for kids (think gourmet hot dogs or grilled cheese) and healthy options for adults (beautiful seasonal salads). There are ice cream options galore, including soft serve made with Strauss. But my favorite part is cooling down with a giant mason jar of homemade lemonade! Morton’s is the best pool my family has ever visited and a true Sonoma gem. It’s obvious that the people working there care deeply for creating a 5 star pool experience for their community! Thank you Morton’s for all you do!
This was our first time going to Morton's Warm Springs and we fell in love when we pulled in. This is a wonderful hidden gem in Sonoma County. Trust me, if you or the kids like swimming this is the place to go! The price is fair for entry. It has everything for the family. 3 geothermal mineral pools (1 is a kiddo pool) and showers. A lot of picnic spots and space. It has plenty of BBQ areas. Just bring your own supplies and get there early to get the spot you want. It also has the sonoma creek running through the land so you can take a dip in the creek. Its pet friendly! Plus they have a fabulous cafe that you need to try! The staff is very nice and friendly! The whole atmosphere is very chill and relaxed. Thank you for the wonderful day Morton's Warm Springs and staff! We will be coming back!
EVENT PLANNERS BEWARE Beware if you are an event planner. Our nonprofit for TERMINAL BREAST CANCER PATIENTS had a signed contract and paid in advance for 37 patients to visit Morton's as the wellness portion of our event UNCORKED. We advertised them on our signage which ultimately gave free advertising. We unfortunately had some online haters who were trying to drum up drama. We contacted Morton's to give them a heads up, as I did with all our venues, and they CANCELLED OUR CONTRACT TWO DAYS BEFORE OUR EVENT. This was a huge hiccup in our event which ultimately costed us over $2,000. They are not good people, and I would not go there. They had ZERO empathy for letting down our group. They were the only one of our ten venues who treated us poorly. Shameful
Went here with my granddaughters who are 5 and 3. The water was warm and three pools to choose from. An adult pool that is kid free from 10-12, and shallow pool and a baby splash pad. Tickets were reserved online and it is a bit of a walk from the parking lot. The day I went there were tree trimmers blocking most of the one way bridge. There is a dressing room with showers that you need to use before getting in the water. A concession stand is available with breakfast treats and lunch items that were pretty good. Water to refill your water bottles is readily available for free. There are not enough lounge chairs and umbrellas and it is entertaining to watch folks fight over them throughout the day. Overall an enjoyable place and I will be back.
I’m kid free so I did wish there were fewer kids, but I was also visiting by myself and felt like it’s a safe enough place to leave my bags alone on the pool deck. Get there early to snag a lounge chair. From what I observed, people tend to save chairs even if they don’t use them for lounging. I was finally able to snag one later in the afternoon when it also got a bit quieter. I DO appreciate that the nicely kept property is family friendly. No poolside drinks or food, but the cafe is really nice. I live far enough away that I probably won’t go back often but the warm mineral water might lure me back when I’m in Sonoma.
