Nosta Sauna Lounge

You ever have one of those weeks where everything seems to be going haywire? Work is stressful? Your sick parent or kids need more help than usual? A cheesemonger at Whole Foods verbally assaults you, and then a Persian koobideh patriarch explodes on you because he never went to therapy? Been there. As Hannah Montana once said, everybody has those days. On that note, I am so grateful to have recently discovered this little zen oasis, nestled between nostalgic wings & a grocery store where I’ve yet to be assaulted. The worst part of coming here is Oso Parkway, but if you can time it well, it’s not so bad. If you’re used to a sauna at a 24-hour gym that smells like a damp gym sock, or perhaps one at Equinox where you can’t help but hear unfortunate drivel re. Elon, DOGE (now two separate kinds!), tariffs, or how Taylor *ruined* the Super Bowl, boy are you in for a treat. The experience here is clean, lush, tranquil, zen, and fully customizable, thanks to the smart TV equipped with Netflix and Spotify (sound bath, healing frequency, sauna meditation, or Evermore por favor), temperature control, and mood lighting. The whole team here is lovely, and they do a wonderful job making you feel cared for. Some of the staff here make me feel more loved than my immediate family (in the past; things are turning a corner recently, but I digress). If you’re a member, you can also opt for an essential oil to enhance whatever mood you’re going for: peppermint for effervescence, lavender to relax, etc. I think you can tell I really enjoy coming here, and I’m so grateful to have discovered this essential element of my wellness ritual thanks to Classpass. OMG, I’ve been waiting so long for this place to open ever since I saw a sauna lounge was coming into this space. Finally, a traditional sauna lounge! I used to be a member at an infrared sauna lounge but was on the lookout for a place with real saunas. After doing some research, I learned that infrared saunas heat your body directly, similar to how a microwave heats food, which isn't quite the same as a traditional sauna experience. Plus, I found out that infrared saunas always emit EMF (electromagnetic fields), which made me hesitant. I couldn’t find a sauna lounge with real saunas, so I stuck with my Equinox gym membership just to use their sauna, which is the cleanest gym sauna I could find. Then Nosta came into my life during their soft opening where I got a free sauna session, and wow, I came out feeling amazing. I was so refreshed, my mood was instantly better, and I had one of the best nights of sleep afterward. The store is such a vibe. Beautiful walls, and it just looks freaking nice. Mark assisted me to my room and showed me how everything worked. The other staff member I forgot to get the name of was super nice too, asking if I was okay after my session and offering water. This place is impeccably clean. I even saw them thoroughly wiping down everything, from the TV control to the saunas and door handles. I'm truly impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail. Highly recommend this place!

From the moment I walked into Nosta, I felt welcomed by the earthy, inviting vibe. As someone who practices judo, I'm always dealing with aches and pains, so I was on the hunt for a private sauna where I could really stretch out. I ended up spending 30 minutes in there at 185 degrees, and it was perfect. The staff hooked me up with a complimentary eucalyptus bundle. I poured some water over the rocks, placed the eucalyptus on the steam, and the whole room filled with this amazing smell. I took a few breaks, but I was seriously sweating buckets. It was such a unique and awesome experience. After the sauna, I cooled off with some eucalyptus-scented towels, which was a nice touch. They even had this facial spray to help cool down, and even though I've never been to a spa before, that spray made me feel like I was at one. I finally get why my girlfriend loves pampering herself. I definitely felt pamperedz The staff was super friendly and even offered me ice water. This is my vibe. I’ll be back again.

I could cry - in the best way haha! I visited Löyly Helsinki last month, and when I got back to OC, I couldn’t stop wondering if there was anywhere I could experience even a piece of that authentic Finnish sauna vibe. Nosta is exactly that place. As a tech worker, I really needed somewhere to relax my nerves and feel renewed, and Nosta delivered completely. I love how it blends tradition with modern comforts - the private saunas have their own löyly, which makes the experience feel so genuine. The space is spotless, the atmosphere calming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. It would be so dope if cold plunges were incorporated to complete the contrast therapy. I know there’s no icy lake to dive into nearby, but even a plunge pool would make it next-level perfect. I've really enjoyed my time and a place like Nosta helps me feel my best! Thank you Nosta!
