My membership has completely changed my daily life — reducing stress, improving my mental health, and giving me a peaceful escape right here in the heart of Oceanside, California. After visiting nearly every day for the past four months, I can confidently say this place is Oceanside’s hidden gem. Forget the Michelin-star restaurant — the Sunny Spa is the real Crown Jewel of the property. From the moment you walk in, the entire experience radiates calm and care. The spa’s atmosphere, treatments, and attention to detail make it the perfect sanctuary for anyone looking to unwind and recharge. What truly makes The Seabird special, though, is the staff. Every single person here is accommodating, attentive, and genuinely kindhearted. They remember names, preferences, and go above and beyond to make every visit feel personal. It’s rare to find a place where you can feel completely at ease and cared for — but The Seabird achieves that effortlessly. Very disorganized as of late. I typically stay at Mission Pacific once a month when I come to town for appointments and never have an issue getting services… this recent attempt was beyond aggravating. I was scolded right off the bat for “not giving enough notice” (hello this is a hotel spa- last minute appointment should be the norm!) and then passed around to 3 different extensions- none of whom seemed particularly motivated to help me book services and only kept giving hostile excuses about why they were so understaffed. Usually when I experience this at other places it’s a sign that management has decided to stop paying good wages to the good service providers and that seems to be the case here too- confused new people who don’t seem to understand what they are doing or why. Hopefully management can pull it together before the holidays. If you are traveling and hoping for a same day appointment highly recommend literally anywhere else so you won’t be talked down to and insulted for trying to patronize this business!

If I could give a higher rating I would! What a truly amazing experience and by far the best spa I have ever been to. There is a reason why this spa has won so many awards. At times I sometimes get nervous that high ratings leave for expectations that are not met but wow did this place exceed all of my expectations. I received the Lymphatic Flow - Full with Madeline and if I lived locally I would come back multiple times a year. She was polite, knowledgeable, and amazing. I felt so relaxed and instantly could feel the difference. The facility is very clean with top notch amenities. If you are in the area you must stop by!

I scheduled a staycation/spa day for my sister and me two weeks ago. I’m so glad I did! My Healing Salt Stone massage with Stephanie was magical. She inquired about my trouble spots and then was a genius in how she treated them. Amazing! We also took advantage of the pool that looked over the ocean. It was lovely but, be aware, this location seems to attract families with small children. Our cabana was lovely, but it was not as zen as a true spa pool. The other thing to keep in mind is that the prices are similar to what you would pay in a high-end resort in Hawaii. That said, it was all worth it!

From the warm welcome at the front desk , to the most beautiful lounge space and amenities ~my experience at Sunny’s Spa was 5/5. The massage therapist was very knowledgeable, well practiced, and friendly! The massage room had the nicest table. It adjusted in so many different ways to fit my perfect comfort level . The sauna and eucalyptus shower was next level luxury. I will definitely be coming back . Marissa made me feel so welcomed and taken care of . Definitely fell even more in love with the Seabird resort today . Thank you!
