Tea House Spa
My gf booked the gemini package for the two of us ($295). The entrance to the spa was decorated very beautifully with lots of plants and bamboo. The service was great and gave me a larger size slipper after the first didn’t fit (the xxl slippers didn’t fit either, but I have size 13 feet). The spa seemed like it needed replacement, a few stains around high contact areas, and jets that lacked power. The tea that was served was great, I would recommend the iced tea, as hot tea doesn’t do much after an hour in the sauna/spa. The sauna was small but ample enough for 2 adults. No real complaints about it. The massage after (50 min) felt a little short, but what massage doesn’t? My masseuse asked if I had any problem areas and gave extra attention to those areas. The massage bed was heated which was incredibly relaxing. Overall $295 seems a little steep for the service, but it is santa cruz.
The young ladies that work there are very welcoming and respectful. We arrived a little early for our appt. and they accommodated us within a few minutes of arriving. This was our first time and they explained the process and rules thoroughly and swiftly as to not take up time from our experience. We purchased the Spa and Sauna package. The private room was awesome. Very calm and relaxing with a beautiful view of the garden. The spa temperature was set just right and the jets provided just enough pressure. The sauna was nice but we could only withstand a couple minutes at a time mainly due to our inexperience with saunas. Just enough room for two. The teas were very good and an added treat to top off the experience. Overall a very relaxing time and we enjoyed every minute of it. We will be back one day soon! Thank you
Came here with my mom and it was a pleasant time! Good: - Booking was super easy on the website - It's super pretty on the inside and the vibes are great - They give you a choice of tea and I liked the tea that we got since it also came with a honey stick - The sauna and cold shower and hot tub combo was great for doing some contrast therapy - Beautiful view of the gardens, that itself is worth it in some ways Bad: - You can't really talk inside, you have to be quiet so it's hard to enjoy fully with a friend or family member - Sauna was hard to understand, we sat in it cold until we finally realized we had to turn it back on since it was auto off - Really expensive for what is just a self service room Overall pleasant experience and I'd give it another try with my boyfriend maybe if the price was lower
$500 dollar for this? Don’t be dumb! I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing. The facilities are extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The treatment rooms looked worn, the equipment felt old, and the overall environment did not feel clean or comfortable. For the price they charge, I expected a much higher standard. The staff were polite, but the condition of the spa made it hard to relax or enjoy the service. I hope the management can invest in proper renovation and maintenance, because at the moment, I cannot recommend this place.
The process was very smooth and easy despite it being my boyfriend and I’d first time. Staff was so sweet and nice, and got straight to the point which I love! We got room 3 and it was nothing less than what we expected: clean, relaxing, serene, and the view was amazing. I would definitely recommend and have already recommended to many of my friends to come visit the spa! We will definitely be back!
