If you’re shopping for a hot tub and want a knowledgeable, no-pressure buying experience, ask for Liam at Spa & Sauna Company. I’ve honestly never left a review on Yelp or Google before, but this experience was so good that I felt compelled to share it. I recently purchased a hot tub for my family from Spa & Sauna Company, and Liam made the entire process exceptional from start to finish. Before visiting the store, I had done some research on the type of hot tub we wanted, but once you start looking seriously, the number of options becomes overwhelming—different brands, sizes, salt systems vs. traditional sanitation, lounge seats vs. no lounge, installation considerations, maintenance, and more. When I walked into the store, I appreciated that I could browse for a bit without anyone immediately approaching me with a sales pitch. At just the right moment, Liam came over, introduced himself, and let me know he’d be happy to help if I had any questions. What followed was honestly one of the best sales experiences I’ve ever had for a major purchase. Liam took the time to really listen to what I was looking for. He walked me through several options and clearly explained the pros and cons of different models—including both less expensive and more premium options. At no point did I feel pressured toward a particular model or add-on. The conversation felt informative, relaxed, and genuinely helpful, and it ultimately helped us find the perfect hot tub for our family. But the support didn’t stop after the purchase. Liam helped us think through the best location on our deck for installation, worked through the delivery logistics quickly and smoothly, and has continued to be available afterward to answer questions. As first-time hot tub owners, we had plenty—everything from chemicals and temperature settings to water balance and general maintenance. Liam has been incredibly responsive and helpful through all of it. We’ve now had the hot tub for about a month and our family absolutely loves it. Like I said, I’ve literally never written an online review before, but this experience deserved one. If you’re looking for a hot tub and aren’t sure where to start, Spa & Sauna Company has a great selection—and if you want someone knowledgeable who will guide you through the process without any pressure, ask for Liam.
We bought a spa through Spa and Sauna and I don't know where to start on how disappoinging our experience was. The best way to describe our experience: Imagine you spend tens of thousands of $$ on buying an equipment and you simply get it dropped into your drive way. Our experience was similar to buying a luxury car just to learn that tires were not included. Let me go into the details. We bought a Spa that as over $20k. However, all that was include was for them to drop it into our backyard. No electrical installation, no startup, nothing! As I told them, I would have at least expected them to include the electrical installation as an option. I would have happily paid for it. But, no. That is not an option. I had to scramble to find someone to do that for me. And, of course. local electrical companies don't know the details of what is needs. So, it took me three visits from an electrician to get that to work. But, that is not all. Starting up a hot tub requires some work. And, they don't even give you the instructions!!!! I had to watch a bunch of YT videos and eventually called a local Hot Tub maintenance company. To be clear, that is totally unnecessary, but you will need to go so far because of how bad their instructions are. Honestly, this is the worst service I have experienced for a device that is worth as much as tens of thousands of $$. I would not recommend anyone to buy anything from this company.
We visited this store back in early January on a Sunday. We were ready to pull the trigger on a tub if the price and customer service were right. When we walked in, it took a bit to have a sales person approach us. This was fine, as we wanted a chance to walk around first before speaking to someone. The showroom is nice and easy to navigate. Most tubs have the details posted. We basically knew the tub we wanted, the HotSprings Flash. My in laws paid $12k for the same make/model up in another county. So if that price could be met, we would have paid cash that day. The sales person was nice enough that helped us initially. However, he didn't seem very genuine, but he's in sales..so I get it. We also didn't feel like he took us seriously as buyers. His loss, we were prepared with cash. We had to chase him back down to ask for a quote and he seemed inconvenienced. The "quote" initially didn't contain the details, just the hotsprings website. Upon emailing back, he did attach a quote. It came in about $16k. My in law's dealer said he couldn't sell to us due to distance, but the $16k was robbery. It doesn't seem like this store negotiates and the commission is crazy. The next weekend we checked out a delear in Morgan Hill and he sold the same tub to us for the $12k. $4K instant savings. Be sure to shop around and don't tolerate not being taken serious as a buyer!!
My experience with Hot Spring Spas has been TERRIBLE! They were great at taking my $57,233.86 but terrible at installing the swim spa. They have been out 4 times and still have not fixed the issues. The first crew, did not complete the installation and would not tell me when someone was coming to complete the installation, lied and said it was operational once electrician connected power, the Covana top was missing at least half of the screws to hold in in place, left out pieces for the lifts on the Covana top, left a mess in my yard (included one of the missing pieces for the lifts), other parts for Covana left in the yard uninstalled, Wifi system was not turned on, the motor improperly installed so it actually fell off. The first crew was trying to leave so fast that when I try to go over the items that I should be receiving that day he told me I talk too much and need to be quiet. Can you image that! I spend $57,233.88 and I'm told to shut up in my own backyard. For the sake of length, I have not included all of the problems. As of today, 6/16/2022 I still have not had all of the problems fixed. BUYER BEWARE!!
After many months of research, I pulled the trigger and bought a Sauna from an online store. Long story short - customer service was horrible and I had to dispute my charge, after many attempts at contacting them. I learned. I bought a Tylo Sauna Hybrid from Liam and Ryan here locally. Great advise, great conversations in guiding me. YES, they were more expensive than online versions of saunas, BUT I knew exactly what I was going to get. I also knew I would not have to assemble or try to assemble this on my own as well as I had local support. They delivered quickly. 4 guys put this together and placed and got it operational, all very professional. The sauna is so awesome! We love being able to switch between infrared and traditional. It simply works. And it feels so high end having this in my house. We love it. Thankful to buying local and the kind service from the entire team. I should have bought my hot tub from them, but I did not.... hindsight is 20/20. Do yourselves justice - and buy local where you can ask questions, feel and touch.
