Walnut Creek Community Regional Park

I haven't been here in year's & I'm so glad I decided to! I use to come here often 13 year's ago & decided to bring my son for the first time in 6 year's & he loved every moment! There's different parts/paths to it all, but we generally go where the Temple is. I love seeing all the people who go, including kid's! If you go, I recommend taking a small backpack with essentials: water, bug spray, sun block & snacks. You could be there for hour's because there is so much to see!

Great place to take a rejuvenating, relaxing hike through the canyon. Lots of green trees and shrubs all around the stream-side trails. P.S. Just watch out for Poison Oak as it is all over as well. That being said, in my opinion, long pants and good shoes are a must. AND be prepared to get your feet wet in the cool stream - should your feet slip off the rocks while crossing from side to side.

I was a little disappointed in the park. The beach only had one shower. Vehicles were driving on the sidewalk. Some vehicles double-parked. A lack of Park personnel throughout the park however there was approximately 7 lifeguards. People had large areas roped-off for their private use.

My kids and I go to this park almost weekly. Love the walks here especially the lake and feeding the ducks. Lot of different jungle gyms for the kids. They also have a lake to swim and another side where the ducks are at they have little water boats to peddle.

A beautiful park that has different amenities and activities for all ages! Playground, hiking trails, biking trails and boating at the lake! Entrance fees are well spent for landscaping and upkeep the park. Annual pass is a steal if you live nearby.
