Woodhouse Day Spa prides themselves on offering a tranquil, transformational environment that's both memorable & healthful. We visited for a couple's massage as an early Valentine's Day treat. Upon arrival, my husband and I were greeted by the lovely staff at the front desk. We got checked in and we're brought back to the spa's locker rooms. We were given luxurious robes and reflexology sandals to change into. We changed and locked our clothes & belongings in private lockers. Once robed-up all nice & cozy, we headed to the Relaxation Room. Woodhouse Day Spa, Castle Pines recommends you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your treatment to get situated & enjoy the Relaxation Room. If you are a new client, they recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your treatment. The Relaxation Room was dimly lit with a fireplace and numerous, comfy seating options. The staff brought us two glasses of champagne as a nice celebratory touch to date night. We then got ourselves some tea & water and settled into two lounge chairs to relax and mentally unwind prior to our massages. Our masseuses fetched us right on schedule and led us to the couple's massage room. The room was softly lit by a lovely little chandelier; two massage tables graced the middle of the space. My masseuse, Rachel asked about any problem areas I'd like her to focus on during my Swedish Massage. After a quick chat, Rachel and her counterpart left us to de-robe and get under the blankets on the heated tables. When Rachel returned, my 50-minute Swedish Massage began - it was nothing short of amazing. The Swedish Massage is a classic stress-relieving massage that utilizes long, flowing strokes to reduce tension, increase circulation, and induce relaxation. Rachel worked her magic and used long, rhythmic strokes to relax my muscles (I store a lot of tension in my neck & shoulders, so she really focused on those areas and loosened them up beautifully). The Swedish Massage was full body, so I started on my stomach and flipped over to my back halfway through the treatment. Our massages completely zen'd us out. We both were more or less melting into the tables, completely at peace. The heavenly 50 minutes flew by. Rachel and her counterpart left us to robe back up & brought us water. Then we were led back to the Relaxation Room. The epitome of tranquility; such a refreshing & romantic evening.
I received the head to toe package and honestly wasn't impressed. I only went to the Woodhouse because I received a giftcard. My massage was good, my facial was not great. It felt rushed and lacking a few things that I was taught in esthetics school. The facial manipulations felt very rushed and I am not use to not having my skin analyzed by verbally telling me if I am hydrated, not hydrated, how my elasticity is etc. For the price it was mediocre. Furthermore the quiet room... not so quiet, which I realize the spa itself cannot control but it would be nice to have staff pop their heads in and tell other groups to stay considerate of other guests who are actually there to check out from life for a bit. This spa reminded me of a glorified massage envy. I will continue to go to Tallgrass for a true spa experience.
Absolutely amazing spa! I was SO relaxed after coming here and I needed it. Got a deep tissue massage by the lovely Melissa and she was amazing! The robes here are SO SOFT and they are slightly weighted, which I wasn't expecting! It was pretty much a weighted robe, which is like a weighted blanket. The robe definitely helped me relax. Their aromatherapy choices were lovely too. Before I went to the Quiet Room (where you relax before and after your treatment) they asked if I wanted something to drink, be it wine, mimosa, tea, water. I love how quiet this place is. It's really amazing to hear the silence in life. I can't wait to come back! Update 11/2/2025 - They have remodeled! Still the same wonderful experience as before!
I had the most wonderful experience at The Woodhouse Day Spa in Castle Pines! I booked a pedicure and it was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was calming from the moment I walked in, and the staff made me feel completely pampered. My pedicure was so relaxing and incredibly well done. Everything from the massage to the attention to detail was perfect. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, especially because I have a gift card to use for a massage. If it’s anything like my pedicure, I know it’s going to be amazing. Highly recommend this spa to anyone looking to unwind and treat themselves!
We came to celebrate my birthday and had such a wonderful experience. My husband and I booked a body massage and facial, and everything was incredibly relaxing from start to finish. The atmosphere was calm, beautiful, and truly restorative. The staff was professional, attentive, and made the day feel special. It was exactly what I wanted for my birthday, peaceful, refreshing, and rejuvenating. We will definitely be back.
