Lake Wales Inn

Most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Guy literally asked for my drivers license and said it was in case the police come he needs to have a record....he wasnt joking when he said this. They charged us 70 dollars for a room that reeked of cigarettes, no working television, no ice machine( literally brought us a plastic tupperware of ice from their refrigerator). All the furniture had cigarette burns and mystery stains. Drop cloths for curtains, a cockroach as a very unwelcomed 3rd guest, awoken to window cleaning? in the middle of the night...Not to mention the random hotel guest, literally diving into the dumpster to dig out trash bags for some unknown purpose. Will not be staying there ever again, nor would I recommend. Big time rip off. Literally stayed somewhere the next night for 10 dollars cheaper and had breakfast included, a CLEAN room with no roaches, and all the ice and tv I could ever want.

I wouldn't live or stay at this motel they are rude and the room is filled with cockroaches you won't want to stay there they don't give you anything no clean. Sheets no soap no towels nothe I have lived there since January and there is loud music on all hours of the night even if you complain about something they don't do anything,half the time the TV doesn't work the microwave don't work,the refrigerator is dirty it stinks so bad in the room I had to burn 6 scents just to get the smell out and they are not cheap at all don't let them fool you ,they get zero stars from me,but if you like living with cockroaches go ahead but I wouldn't waste my money on that place try the little palm in right up the road a lot better looking and no cockroaches,they want 400 a week if not more, so take from me don't go there.

Now my honest opinion. You pay $1400.00 a month. You need to be served breakfast in bed, lunch and dinner. A maid on call at all hours of the day or night. Oh yes, cable that really works. I will not stay here again. I think we would maybe have cable a total of 3 or 4 complete days out of a week. You go complain to the office and the owner would tell you to go see maintenance guy and all he would tell you is complain to the office and tell them to order you a new box. Like I said I will not come back to this hell hole again. It is so noise here you can't sleep at night. You say anything to the owner and they tell you to call the law, and it is the owners place to keep the peace here, and that is something you never have here, day or night.

This place was horrible they try to get u out of every dollar nd day they can its ridiculous they bother u all the time nd they don't speak English so if they give u one price it will change when the English speaking one return's cause she's never there nd when she gets back she changes everything even try to change the room if u get a nice one!!! they lie don't let anything mess up on you ire you'll get the blame even if u tell them 20 times they kicked us out nd keep are money nd called the other motels around to tell them not to let us in!!we were getting bit at night by mites there racist nd they don't fix anything but bother u as soon as the rent is do there dirty nd nasty worst motel ever!!

It's ok if you need an inexpensive place to stay for a little while. It's not a holiday inn by far but it's cheaper living than renting a home or an apartment if you simply cannot afford to pay apartment prices. It's not a beautiful place but it does serve it's purpose for a place to stay.
