The Salt Room OVIEDO Wellness Spa
I came to The Salt Room for a deep tissue massage to help with a pelvic twist injury, and I left feeling completely disappointed. The facility was beautiful, clean, and peaceful, and the woman at the front desk was kind, informative, and gave me a nice tour. Everything seemed great until the actual massage. I clearly stated on my form and to the therapist that I was fine with deep pressure and needed focus on my injured area. Instead, it felt like someone was lightly rubbing oil on my skin for an hour. There was no real pressure, no muscle work, and nothing close to a deep tissue massage. The few moments he applied pressure lasted only seconds. It might’ve gone differently if I had spoken up, but it was my first time in this kind of environment, and it was so quiet that I already felt vulnerable and uncomfortable. Still, a deep tissue massage is supposed to be deep tissue, and I paid so much money for absolutely nothing. This wasn’t even an average massage. I went in hopeful, after months of dealing with pain, and left frustrated, uncomfortable, and extremely let down. When the front desk lady asked if I wanted to tip, I panicked and said yes out of politeness, but I immediately regretted it. I paid for a deep tissue massage, and I didn’t get even a fraction of that experience. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this one needed to be said. The facility is beautiful and the staff were kind, but I left feeling like I wasted my time, my money, and the hope I had for real relief.o ** UPDATE The owner reached out to me and was very professional. I appreciate the hospitality and things we made right. She definitely cares about her business and it very much shows. Thank you for understanding and being kind.
Wow where do I begin?! The salt room in Oviedo was such an amazing experience I wish that everybody could feel at least once in their lifetime. Yesterday was my birthday my 37th to be exact, and it was one of my best birthdays that I have ever had hands down thanks to The Salt Room in Oviedo. From walking in the door immediately you notice how beautifully it is decorated, how clean it is and an amazing atmosphere. Felicia the owner absolutely amazing!! She is very relatable and she knows her stuff! From walking in the door being greeted by Bradley was such a nice warming smile to meeting the owner Felicia and then getting my deep tissue massage by Tabytha it was quite a relaxing experience, much needed and I'm so glad that I found this gem!! If you want to really treat yourself or even a loved one take it from me this is the place to go!! I definitely will be back!! 🩷
I brought my 10 month old to play in the kid room since she is teething and has a snotty nose. I’ve heard the great benefits of breathing salt when your sinuses are acting funky like hers currently are. We both loved it!! You walk in and it’s a very welcoming, calm environment that smells really good. The kids room is so cute, they have toys, books, chairs (for adults and kids) and a play kitchen. My 10 month old and I sat on the blanket that they laid down since she is a baby. We had so much fun reading books and playing with toys. We will definitely be back again soon.
This place is beautiful and calming. Salt therapy helps my asthma and sinus issues. Best sleep especially the night after visit. Apparently it helps people work COPD and other respitory issues including sickness such as flu. Hope this post helps with anyones curiosity, well worth the investment whether just a day visit or purchasing a package to help keep the visit costs down. Thank you for being here to help us!!!
