Johns Creek Spa

My wife and I had (2) 80 min Swedish massage Groupons we bought based on the reviews and showed up 10 minutes early as requested. We were greeted cordially and asked to fill out some paperwork. Is it just me, or do these forms seem outdated and unnecessary at this point? Employer information, DOB…it all seems unnecessary and frankly, a risk to put on any random form. Nevertheless, we filled out most of the info and then were shown where the restrooms were. The place was very clean and warm. It had a good feeling. When we left, I had two distinct issues with our experience that urked me. The first is that the filled out form served almost no purpose of its intent to establish any health risks or warnings when I actually met with the therapist. I truly felt like he couldn’t be bothered with caring about my needs and there was little discussion on what I would prefer from the service, or that there was any reference of him reading the form. I felt like a number and the massage felt robotic, at times. Now, conversely, the therapist did a great job with the actual massage as I felt limber and my muscles relaxed with good amounts of pressure. I wanted there to be more care and sense of comfort behind the notion of a stranger touching your body. This is half of massage therapy…feeling comfortable, and I didn’t really feel welcomed, or comfortable, from the therapist. Lastly, my wife was charged a $40 upcharge that seemingly had no purpose at all behind it. There was no additional service performed for this upcharge and it seemed like it was something to add on because someone said a certain word on their form. My wife agreed that nothing related to the service justified that $40 upcharge. All being said, it wasn’t a bad experience. Without the Groupon pricing, it starts to get too expensive to rationalize. Give them a shot, maybe we just had an off day.

Update management did follow up with me genuinely listened to my concerns and experience. I rebooked with Terrence he is probably one of the best massage therapist I have had in a very long time. Every system has hiccups it really is how the recovery is handled!! When I checked in receptionist was warm and welcoming she offered water while I waited total different experiences!! 10 stars-if you are looking for an incredible massage ask for Terrance!! I will recommend to my community!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thank you Management 😊 I would be weary of booking here , Management is not responsive, if you book and pay for services. You expect that what you will get. Not so much here still waiting on management to call me back. Jeff is a good message therapist. But if you pay for 80 minutes that what you expect. And I was early. The staff was late my appointment was 3:30 , i arrived at 3:10. No note on the door. The experience was off putting.

It was my first time, I had a Groupon coupon and wasn’t expecting a great service as I felt it was cheaper through Groupon and their prices are high in general. But that was my wrong assumption, they made me feel pampered. Ms.Akira was really great! I felt relieved, relaxed and so much lighter. I would be going back here again for my regular massages. Front office folks were great too. In a hot location with access to food and grocery, lots of parking, place is clean with a lot of rooms. Looks like the place is happening with good massages. If you are new to the area, I recommend this place for you to try!

I'm new to the area and was looking for a new massage therapist. I'd planned to compare a few different spas but after the incredible massage I had today with Michael, I had no reason to look any further! The spa is lovely and clean. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Michael is a gem with amazing skill and knowledge. What an amazing experience! I highly recommend Johns Creek Spa and Michael. I'm now a monthly member but plan on going every other week as we work on the scar tissue left from a major surgery.

I had such an amazing experience. I had deep massage with Coach Key. She has a lot of knowledge and it was absolutely wonderful. I came with neck and shoulder pain. I feel such a relief and my pain disappeared completely. Thank you so much Coach Key for being wonderful massage therapist. I’m definitely coming back and will share my experience with my friends. Place is beautiful and clean and very welcoming.
