Savannah Day Spa

Just finished getting a massage at this day spa. My friend and I both booked the rolling stone massage, which is 75 minutes. I will not name my message therapist. She was nice and friendly but the massage was unfortunately sloppy. We were on the second floor. The room had 2 big windows that were covered by curtains but there was still a lot of natural light coming through. The room was not dim. I was not able to fully relax. Upstairs on the third floor I could hear things being moved, what sounded like a washer spinning, going all over the place. A lot of noise. So with the combination of light and noise I could not relax. My massage therapist told me my session would be 110 minutes. I questioned her and told her it was supposed to be 75 minutes. She seemed confused on the type of massage I was supposed to be having. After starting she told me there were two different hot stone massages. She didn’t seem prepared. I’m not trying to be mean or rude, she was nice but maybe she was having an off day. This is just my honest review. I have had many massages of different kinds at different facilities. If you want total relaxation and do not want to be disturbed, I do not recommend this day spa. If you’re okay with that then it might be fine for you.

Not sure what I can say that’s positive about my experience here. We did a girls trip to Savannah a week ago and booked ourselves the Savannah Day Spa package on a Saturday. This is a 5 hour package that lasted 4 hours at best. There was not a moment when we didn’t feel rushed and uncomfortable. The facial was likely the best part of the entire experience (if I were to pick a service). The massage was mediocre at best and the hair mask was just rubbed on for 5 seconds on my hair. There is no rain shower, it’s just a weird dinky shower, which is horrific if you’re tall like me. My manicure lasted a day and continued to peel off in wholes from my nails every hour that I was there. The manager is extremely rudeeee, and does not know how to talk to her employees with customers around. She only cares to rush out of there and definitely did not want to be working on a weekend. Food was ok and was not served in any hydro lounge. It was just served to us on our pedicure chairs. The employees are nice and try their best but the management is poor and the services are extremely substandard. Please do not ruin your trip to Savannah by going here. 4 girls on the trip, all hated it!

I wanted to start by saying that the actual massage itself was really good, and I truly appreciate the care and technique the Grady provided. My husband surprised me with a 90-minute custom massage for my birthday, which I was really looking forward to. However, I did want to share a couple of concerns about the experience. My appointment began at 3:40 PM and ended at 5:01 PM, which totals about 81 minutes—not the full 90 minutes that was booked and paid for. Additionally, during the massage, the therapist had to stop multiple times to check his phone at another table. He mentioned the front desk was texting him about staying late for another client, which understandably seemed to be stressing him out, but it did interrupt what was supposed to be a relaxing experience.

They started the appointment late and then cut it short. :/ Edit We made two appointments for 12:00. I sat there until they both went back and immediately paid at 12:14. Which the receipt shows. We had 4 people waiting to make sure my granddaughter wasn't sitting by herself since her mom went back at 12:00. I did not want my granddaughter sitting around by herself when she was done so I asked what time she would be done and she said it was an hour treatment. I returned at 1:15 thinking that would be when she was done. The person at the desk said they left at 1. And I asked why they didn't give her the full hour. She said it was only 45 mins and i reminded her she said it was supposed to be an hour. That is 25% of the time.

Arrived in town late last night with awful shoulder pain and was so pleasantly surprised to be able to book a 45min massage here for this morning. The spa is in an old townhouse, really beautiful, quiet and peaceful in the middle of a busy area. Staff was super warm and no fuss. Session ran exactly on time. My tech Sally was really wonderful - I've never felt more believed & listened to when I asked for hard pressure and focus on one pain point. I wasn't expecting to want to chat through the whole session, but she was super knowledgable and eager to explain what she was doing and it was a great conversation. If you need help with pain from a friendly expert, this is the place and Sally is your person!!
