The Retreat at Douglasville is hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at! From the moment I stepped through the door, it was clear that Dee, the host, truly cares about creating an exceptional guest experience. The property is beautifully maintained, and every corner feels warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the attention to detail was remarkable. Dee even included special touches like a welcome gift and local recommendations, which made me feel so at home. The location is fantastic—peaceful and serene, yet close enough to everything you’d need in Douglasville. Whether I was relaxing in the cozy living room, outdoor space, or exploring the surrounding area, it was the perfect retreat. Dee was an outstanding host: responsive, accommodating, and genuinely kind. It’s rare to find someone who puts so much care into ensuring guests have a seamless and memorable stay. I can’t recommend The Retreat at Douglasville enough. If you’re looking for a getaway that combines comfort, style, and exceptional hospitality, this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We stayed at The Retreat @ Douglasville for a long weekend and loved every minute. It’s close enough to Atlanta that we could easily explore the city during the day, but coming back to the peaceful property felt like a whole different world. The kids absolutely loved the movie room—it was the highlight of their trip—and my wife and I appreciated the relaxing hot tub after long days of sightseeing. The firepit gave us some great family bonding time, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. The property is well-maintained and has all the comforts of home, plus some amazing extras. It’s rare to find a place that’s this accommodating for both adults and kids. Highly recommend!

I celebrated my 32th birthday at The Retreat @ Douglasville, and it was everything I could have hoped for and more. The concierge team really knocked it out of the park! The decorations they provided were gorgeous and made the evening feel so special. The private chef’s meal was phenomenal—every bite was perfection. We rented the chauffeur service, and the car ride to and from dinner in the city felt like such a treat. Back at the house, we ended the night around the firepit, laughing and making memories with my closest friends. The attention to detail here is unmatched, and the space is so inviting. Thank you, Lex and Dee, for making my birthday unforgettable!

This was such a beautiful place! Booked a staycation for my fiancé’s birthday and he called everybody to show this place off 😂. The massage, private chef, and decoration inside was a 10/10. The owners were very responsive if you needed anything. Would highly recommend this location to anyone! …

Place is really nice and cozy we enjoyed our 3 day stay. I really appreciate Be Nice for the grill also. Publix was right up the street that’s if you want to grill or cook your own meals.
