Cove Creek Hot Springs

Nice little spring. The pool is very shallow, but has a nice sand bottom. The wall was very leaky, do the pool was cold at first, but we had a good time fixing it up, and it got warmer. Note that there are a couple of places where the spring bubbles up from the left side of the pool... Look for the occasional bubbles to find where!

This was a nice quiet campsite by the river. The sound of the river was soothing through the night, and nobody bothered me. I had the campground to myself. The outhouse isn't being maintained during the COVID - 19 craziness, so it might be a good idea to bring some Clorox wipes and extra toilet paper, just in case.

We found this natural hot spring right along the Salmon River, and it was absolutely magical. The contrast of soaking in warm mineral waters while listening to the cold river rushing beside us was unforgettable. Best part—no one else was there, so it felt like our own hidden paradise. A true gem in Idaho!”

I had high hopes on this one! Unfortunately the spot that is warm is no bigger than one person and no deeper than 10”. Felt like sitting in a puddle. We did find one spot that was super hot on the feet, but with the cold river water coming in, wouldn’t even heat the ankles. The scenery was nice.

Awesome spot! Nice and secluded although you can still hear road traffic. Right next to the river so it offers beautiful views and sounds. Some areas are HOT while others are perfect temp. Got to chat with some great people we met while soaking. Definitely a great spot!
