224 Couple Massage

This was not a great experience for me.. though it might be within comfort zone for some people. I booked relaxation massage and received painful deep tissue work. We confirmed relaxation massage in the front lobby, and that is where the discussion stopped. There was no talk of changing the plan, and no questions about my needs or goals for the session. During the massage the person working on me climbed up on the table, kneeled straddling my head and began painful deep tissue compressions on my upper back, neck, and shoulders. She seemed to be mistaking bony landmarks for “knots.” During another part of the massage she repeatedly ran the point of her elbow up and down my rib cage. For most of the massage, the majority of my bottom was exposed, though she did not work on my glutes. She had pulled my underwear awkwardly far down to work on my low back and did not put them back even when I myself attempted to adjust them to cover myself. Overall, the experience was a mess. It was clear that the person was working very hard, but it was not effective or enjoyable. I question the credentials of this person and strongly caution anyone who may feel uncomfortable with unconventional methods of body work.

I have no idea why this place is rated so high! My massage was horrible, unsafe, unprofessional and agressive. Anyone who gets massaged frequently would be able to tell the masseuse was so ill-trained. The whole time was getting rubbed harshly as if you are trying to get a stain out of cloth by brushing it over and over again. No technique at all. No knowledge of anatomy, it was so bad that bones (waist) were surprising her and she was thinking of them as knots and pushing or pulling in one direction over and over again. When it was time of back massage, her whole focus was on pushing all the blood I have in my upper arms to my back. The whole time I was in agony. When I politely tipped despite being in pain, the therapist became visibly angry and confrontational, which left me feeling unsafe. This experience was not just disappointing, it was disturbing. I do not recommend this place — especially for solo women or those seeking a peaceful, respectful environment.

Update ( some reached out to me to make it right ) We came in around 5:00 PM for a massage and were brought to the room, but ended up waiting about 20 minutes before anyone came in to start the service. My fiancée specifically requested a deep tissue massage and even asked for more pressure during the session, especially around the shoulders, but unfortunately, that request wasn’t fulfilled and just was getting rubbed up and down . After the massage, we paid $219 for the service and even left a $32 tip. Despite that, the cashier still complained and asked for more money, which left a really bad impression especially since we’re regular customers who usually have great experiences here. What made it worse is that there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay or the lackluster service. Disappointed this time around.

The pressure was perfect, and the therapists spent a lot of time on my shoulders, which I really needed. They knew exactly where to focus and worked out all the tension with expert precision. The oil they used felt luxurious—very slippery without being sticky—and added to the overall relaxing experience. The session ended with a fantastic head and face massage, which was the perfect finishing touch. This was our second or third time here, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-tier massage!

Been here a few times before and never had any problems, always great pressure on the body and everyone was always great. My ONE complaint is the same as everyone else’s: tipping. 60 min for 2 people was $149 so I gave $30 (which i think is reasonable). They will point to their sign that says “tipping suggestion” (which they’re basically requiring you to follow, funnily enough). While I could have just said “but that’s a suggestion.” and refused to give more, I just let them have the extra $10. Not a big deal but definitely has rubbed me the wrong way. Loved the place but small stuff like that will start deterring someone from coming back.
