Asian Essence in St Charles is an excellent place to go for a wonderful massage. The facility is clean and the rooms are equipped with comfortable tables and chairs. When they recently opened this location in addition to their Lombard location I have had the opportunity to go on a weekly basis. My work is very physical and the relaxation and relief I receive here is a wonderful relief and pleasure. I have had the opportunity to try several of the therapists and enjoyed them all. My favorites and recommendations are Mia for Swedish which is more a combination of Swedish and Sport massage which I truly like and May for the Foot Reflexology which is the ultimate relaxation and dreamland experience of head neck shoulders and foot massage. I always do 90 minutes with each and recommend you do the same. Both are very warm lovely ladies and they work so hard during the treatments I feel guilty and almost want to tell them to take a break, but I don’t! So I suggest you tip them well at the end as I try to do. I know you will enjoy this place and there are so many other styles of massage to choose that you might prefer. I always book on line the night before or a day or two prior and they have always been ready when I arrive.
So amazing! I wish I could give 500 stars!❤️ I went in for a massage and I loved it! Very clean and professional. There are many rooms, they do scalp/hair massages and body massages. I am going to coming in again next week with my boyfriend! For the prices of the services, this is very affordable compared to many other spas, so I would definitely be sure to tip them very well! The only complaint I’m seeing a lot in the other reviews is the language barrier, which is really not even an issue. It isn’t hard to understand the ladies and many of them do speak decent conversational English. Google translate exists so the only time I had any struggle communicating we just used that. So as much as the language barrier seems like such an Issue for others, it really isn’t a problem whatsoever. Thank you so much! I will be back!💕
Run away. My daughter just left after paying for a cbd massage and regular lotion was used. The worker did not speak at all (likely language barrier) but giggled to herself throughout the experience. Not sure what technical training she had but I am pretty sure karate chopping someone was not part of it. After expressing that she needed her shoulder worked on my daughter was befuddled when this woman continually focused her attention and her aggression on my daughters behind. She actually punched her multiple times in the same spot. Needless to say the shoulder still hurts and now her behind aches too. Worst of all the masseuse had extremely long nails and left scratch marks all over my daughter. Not sure if we should ask for a refund or file an assault charge.
Amazing. I’ve had severe back problems from working at my desk. Muscle spams and back pain. I can finally sit back and just feel great and no knot on my back. Feels like I can breathe better and not so tense if that makes sense. Ive seen negative reviews regarding services. I think if you don’t understand something it’s fine to just ask again what they said or if you aren’t ok with something say NO. They asked me several times if i was ok with everything. The price is amazing for the services provided. Def recommended booking add ons prior. I was so deep into it that it wasn’t necessary.
I don't know what the heck just happened and I am totally ok with that. I got a 90 minute foot/deep tissue massage with Kiki and I think my life changed, even though it flashed before my eyes once or twice. This was a very intense, back cracking, knot busting experience complete with getting my back straddled during the deep tissue part....but I lived to tell the tale. It was worth every penny and I'm already trying to figure out when to go back. The language barrier is definitely real here but so is the massage, so it works! 10 stars.
