C'zar Salon Spa

I am gladly changing my review after the C'zar team quickly responded to my concern. I was scheduled with the owner, who took her time with my hair. I got lots of good advice for my curls, and also some product recommendations! I really appreciated the gesture, and I will be definitely visiting again. My original 1 star review: I have been here a couple of times and always left happy! I booked my appointment with Emily, who is supposedly a curly hair expert. I got to the appointment on time, as she was finishing someone else. She was 15 mins late which was definitely not a big deal AT THE TIME! I sat on her chair and told her what I would like. She explained to me she does dry cutting and she won’t have time to wash and style my hair?! Excuse me, I paid for a haircut AND style, don’t tell me you don’t have time for me. I was on time, the stylist wasn’t! Never have I ever left any salon with dirty hair (4 days dirty on purpose) I felt rushed and not taken care of. She didn’t explain anything or have any suggestions along the way, we barely said 5 words. She rushed me to the check out and ran out back. The girl at the front desk was extremely sweet and offered a discount. I still tipped because I’m not a Karen but this is disappointing. Update with photos: my ends look very uneven, and some strands are at my original length

I paid over $400 for a color service and left completely disappointed. During my consultation, I showed inspiration photos and discussed going back to a lighter, blended blonde look. I came in with about six months of grow-out; my ends were previously bleached blonde, and my top was my natural dark blonde. I wanted the top to blend and match the lighter blonde on the bottom. I booked the highest-level stylist available, expecting professional results. However, after drying my hair, the stylist mentioned that I “might need another appointment” to achieve the look — something that was never mentioned beforehand. That comment alone made it clear she knew the results did not match what we agreed on. My natural hair is a dark blonde, which usually lightens easily, so achieving a brighter blonde is never an issue. Within two washes, the toner completely faded, and my hair looked almost the same as before the appointment, except now uneven and brassy. I reached out to the salon, sent photos, and waited weeks for a response. In the end, I was refunded $72 “for the glaze portion”, even though the overall results fell far short of expectations. Very disappointed and do not recommend this place to anyone.

I always believe in taking my time before sharing a review, especially when it involves someone as talented as Cece. Now that I've had the chance to experience her artistry through various visits, I can confidently say she is the complete package! With her kindness, sweetness, and professional approach, Cece dedicates herself to her craft with unwavering perfection. Every time I leave the salon, I’m absolutely thrilled with my hair! It doesn't just look great; it truly shines. I consistently receive compliments that often catch me off guard, even during video calls! Cece has an incredible ability to make me feel beautiful every single time her fingers work their magic. If you’re looking for a stylist who genuinely cares about their clients, look no further. I highly recommend Cece! Thank you for always making me feel fabulous!

This is my first time in Czar Salon Spa -Bolingbrook ! From the moment you walk in the door everyone is so friendly and attentive! My first experience with Chona was superb! Chona and I connected immediately! We discussed my massage and she understood what kind of massage was best for me! After her service I felt excellent ! I am very pleased with my massage and would highly recommend her professional service to anyone who is looking for a amazing massage!

Ceridwen was amazing to work with! I completely trusted her process and was very impressed and happy with the end result. She also helped me with my scalp issues and gave a wonderful scalp treatment! She recommended I take home the same treatment she used on my scalp and helped make sure I would be able to get the product since they were all sold out. I will definitely be booking with her again!
