Hudson Crossing Park

Decided to take advantage of the great weather and do some self care. This little gem is in the downtown of Oswego along the Fox River. There is a nice bike path and a walking path. Plenty of park benches along the way in all areas (sunny, shaded, near, and away from water). There are plenty of great views, flowers, and a dedication area for war veterans that has a mini water fall with an eternal flame behind it. There are 2 sitting areas where you can sit and play chess or checkers. Parking is ample and is literally so close to the water. There is a cute park for the kids as well as grills around the bench tables in the picnic area. You can even sit in your car and still see the river. It is steps away from several eateries and coffee shops,as well as boutiques, antique shops, etc. People were fishing, and it was near the treehouse theatre. It was a great way to spend the afternoon in nature.

Super disappointed with the renovated playground, thought we would see something a lot nicer like wolf crossing or Plainfield playground for all age group or at least something similar, but all we got is something that's between age 3-7... with all the property taxes we pay each year, is this all we got??? Absolutely we deserve a lot better than this cheap updates and where is the indoor swimming pool?? The facility at civic center is also old?? I don't see much benefits and is this all Oswegoland can do?? Quite disappointing!

A really excellent park to check out and walk around. It's in a peaceful section right by the river and they have several nice paths for walking and biking. They have several areas to sit, and a playground for the kids. They also have some port-o-potty toilets for use. Parking nearby is plentiful.

Hudson Crossing Park has beautiful views of the Fox River. It's also the southern terminus of the Fox River Trail. The park features a playground, benches, and plenty of scenic views.

A fun place for the kids. Nice view of the river and a water mister feature to keep the kids cooled off. It has lots of picnic areas but no bathrooms: a short visit and a gun one.
