Lavender Spa
Greetings. A couple of weeks ago, I went for an hour-long massage, paid upfront for the hour plus gratuity. It was a decent massage. 20 minutes left on the clock and the masseuse asked if a colleague can massage me and I said it was okay. The second one did nothing but rubbed my feet and they both chatted for almost 20 minutes. I asked to focus on the massage, but they kept talking. I was charged $103 for the extra time (some 20 minutes) on my credit card. The second girl didn’t massage much, it’s only fair to pay for her time. The first one demanded that she should be paid more because it is four hands now - haha. Greedy. I’ve already paid her in cash. No additional services were offered or received. I would avoid this place by all means.
Had the Massage a week ago. I went with my Freind and they asked me to do the payment first and we did that . while leaving there were other guest and they welcomed him with more warmth and never took the payment first. Since it was not important ,we went for the massage and after the massage they were forcing me to give tip and I was searching for cash they I gave her she is yelling to give me more. Worst experince. It was closer to our home and thought it would be our goto place in future but never recommend.
I was there today we just moved to wheeling so after the move and settled down decided to get a massage 💆♂️ I call this place lady say 140 over the phone I agreed and make the appointment then I show up now she say 160 so I was like oh okay let's do it is fine but then when she was all done I gove her 20 dollars because it was my girl and I sooooo i said 10 and 10 she say that's not enough also make a really ugly face so I pull out 10 more just because she ask for it. Never going back there bad business!
Stopped on my way home from O'Hare after skiing in Montana. After a poor judgment decision to ski a little run I had no business skiing, I fell and tweaked my back in a bad way. I called Lavender Spa and they were able to take me immediately. Amy (I think her birth name is Nǚshén) worked my back and shoulders, did an awesome job and I woke up the next day with so much more mobility than I expected. A first class deep tissue massage. Thank you.
Jenny is great! She gives a great massage and body scrub. She makes you feel welcome and comfortable the entire time. Yes you need to pay up front but you can tip at the end. I've never felt any pressure with this. Jenny is very kind and can address any needs you might have. She recently helped me with my ankle. Alice and Lily are also good. Definitely a reasonably priced place compared to other places. Give Jenny a try!
