Mineral Springs Park

I've enjoyed coming to this park ever since I was a little girl. The flowers are so pretty and sitting at the Lagoon is so relaxing! There is a walking trail around the Lagoon and also fishing on site. They have paddle boats and canoes that people can rent out for a certain time limit. There's also a large playground that's even wheelchair accessible. There are also baseball diamonds on site and sand volleyball if you're into that sort of thing. The Pavilion there with the pointed Peaks can be rented out for parties or reunions it's a very nice building. We actually came here during Marigold weekend so there are tents and music playing and lots of food vendors. If you haven't been to the marigold Festival definitely plan that for next August because it definitely attracts a huge crowd!

Amazing place to be able to take your kids or a daily walk. There are several things to do at this park. You can watch a baseball game. You can rent a paddle boat which looks like a dragon. There is a playground area that is just for the younger kids. There is a very large walking path that you can walk around the pond.

This park has a lot of walking paths, lots of tables for relaxing, a baseball stadium. It's a great playground for kids; my kids really enjoy playing there. There is a gorgeous lake in the middle of the park, and there are Canada geese. There is a public restroom. All in all a great place to walk around with the family.

Mineral Springs Park is a wonderful local gem. The well-maintained restrooms and fun playground make it a great spot for families. The beautiful pond with its calm atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing stroll or quiet contemplation. This park is an ideal place to spend an afternoon enjoying nature and fresh air.

Awesome park with beautiful water feature and sidewalk to walk around the man made lake. Lots of seating and swings. Some bird poop along the walkway but not a hindrance and only in a certain section. Beautiful gardens and nice memorial to Senator Dirksen in the outskirts. Beautiful night with gorgeous sunset!
