I had visited the Chicago location and enjoyed my experience there, so I thought I'd visit this location since it had lots of positive reviews. I have had dozens of massages and they're my favorite way to take care of myself, but unfortunately this massage was well below average. I booked an hour massage, and I don't think my therapist had much understanding of massage techniques, muscle groups, etc. While the pressure was what I wanted, the massage felt disjointed and ineffective. For lack of a better word, it was a basic rubdown that was inexperienced and not therapeutic. I had a 30 minute facial that followed with the same therapist. When I've had other facials, they've explained the products, what they do, etc, what tools they're using on my face. I asked about one tool, since it buzzed and I had no clue what was going on. But otherwise, there was no explanation. The mask was not applied or removed with much care; I was left with bits of product in my hair and some that had dripped down around the back of my neck. I was really looking forward to this experience and wanted to leave a better review. The cost of massages services has gone up here, understandably, and I appreciate this company wanting to compensate its employees fairly, but I felt the quality of the services I received was not worth near the amount I paid. Maybe I just got unlucky with the therapist who was assigned to me, but guests should have a phenomenal, professional experience every time with any therapist.

Speaking to any of the workers was unnecessarily challenging. Not a single one was able to explain what’s included in their list of services. All of them quickly interrupting me repeatedly each time saying “yes” to my questions. Even the manager on the phone who was supposed to speak better English couldn’t explain what’s involved in their “scalp treatment”. It’s a red flag when they say “it’s hard to explain”. No it’s actually not. This is your business. You should know how to give a simple description of your services. Turns out it’s just scalp massage with lotion applied that doesn’t include any other treatment. Very misleading. I told them multiple times I wanted 2 hours but multiple workers kept trying to talk me down to 90 minutes. Don’t you want my business?? Also why are your workers guilt tripping me super hard to tip more?? Just because you are immigrants doesn’t mean you can behave this way. I know plenty who show more respect and manners. What’s the point of having those services if you can’t describe any of them?? I’ve only seen shady businesses operate in this way.

My first time at that massage parlor and I can say it’s amazing. Been to massage envy once before and it was a total disaster so I was a bit skeptic on this one based on my experience with massage envy. I only tried this one based upon google reviews and I can attest that it’s 100% amazing. The place is very clean well kept, absolutely top notch. It’s the easiest appointment I’ve ever booked at any establishment period, staff was friendly, their response time was lightening quick. The massage it self was earth shatteringly Good. , I felt so good I didn’t want it to end but for sure I’ll be back. I would definitely recommend any one looking for a massage to try Mongolian massage parlor, you will not be disappointed ever! Good service isn’t cheap but they are very reasonable and as I said the service is earth shatteringly good. Thanks Emily, I’ll be back for sure.

I’ve been here twice for a 90-minute couples massage and both times, it was a fantastic experience. I’m both occasions, the massage therapist was attuned to my body’s needs and addressed them. They were conscious of pressure in areas of discomfort while working on the cause of the discomfort itself tactically. They checked in on pressure several times, and customized our massages to our individual needs. PS: a few minutes of hot stone work are part of the massage which is lovely. The rooms were both very clean in both scenarios, and ambiance is calm and soothing, and the staff was kind and professional. I’ll be returning again for sure!

This place is hit or miss at best. The last time I went was really bad. The woman asked if I wanted deep tissue what area of focus. I said yes and focus on my low back and hips. She didn’t even massage either. She spent the whole time digging her elbow into the spot between my spine and shoulder blade and rubbing oil all over my skin. What a disappointment. Considering how this place has consistently raised their prices since they’ve opened, I’ll take my $100 elsewhere. If I want an Asian style massage I’ll go to Relax Feet on Clybourn. If I want a professional massage I’ll go anywhere but here.
