Do not recommend this place. This was our third and final visit. We scheduled an appointment, and upon arrival I was informed that one of the massage therapists was an intern who would be practicing on me—something that was never disclosed beforehand. The intern did not seem to know proper massage techniques, so I asked to stop the session. I waited while my significant other finished his massage, after which the other therapist split the time, doing 30 minutes on me and 30 minutes on him. To make matters worse, a warm towel was used to remove the massage oil, and it had a very strong, unpleasant odor that left me smelling awful, like a dirty rag. I asked for a clean towel and even asked her to smell it herself, to which she responded that she couldn’t smell because she was sick. Overall, it was a very bad experience. I would recommend trying the place across the street instead—they are much more professional.
Shine Healing Spa is truly a hidden gem. The therapists here are highly skilled and know exactly how to relieve muscle tension and pain. I work long hours and always have back and shoulder soreness, but after one deep tissue massage, I felt amazing. They use very professional techniques and really care about customer comfort. The rooms are clean and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. Great service, fair prices, and excellent quality. Definitely worth every dollar!
