Mr Jian Song, the owner, is always happy to greet the clients with warmth and kindness. He inquiries about the clients preferences when it comes to pressure and does not disappoint. I love the heated table and the relaxing music 🎶! Most times, I get deep tissue. However, due to a neck stretch, I need a swedish relaxating massage. Although I'm happy to say I've tried a few other places, none were compatible with delivering the service I sought. I guarantee that if you try it, you'll remain a long-term client. I miss this place, especially when I travel. Sysong spa is home for my relaxation, and I couldn't recommend it enough, especially around the holidays. 🎄🫠🎆 enjoy!
I completely agree with the other excellent review regarding Mr. Jian Song [aka John] and his massage! + He was kind, sincere and a phenomenal experienced therapist + table is heated + pleasant music + massage therapist is incredibly knowledgeable in variety of techniques [varying pressure + deep stretching + short and long strokes, pinching and pulling, etc] + therapist uses his fingers, hands and wrists and forearms to massage you [not dig in elbows, like some other places]. I highly recommend him and Sysong Spa! Note: It is a small business, so yes, they have to run to the phone sometimes. Bring cash, otherwise there's a three dollar credit card fee.
I booked a 90 minute Deep Tissue Massage for $115. She spent 15 minutes sitting on my back and using her bodyweight to do the deep tissue massage. During the massages she had to cover the phone calls and front desk. I asked her to provide more pressure with her hands or forearms but she told me should wouldn't be able to. We ended the massage after 30 minutes and refunded my original payment but charged me $58 for the time. I will opt for the many other spas in the area
This is the first time I have posted a review for a company. I have been going to Sysong Spa for over 8 years. I ha e been seen Emily for almost all that time. As a person who is suffering from leg and back pain, I have been blessed to have Emily as my massage therapist. She listens to my complaints and is very effective in the treatments she provides. She is also a very kind and considerate person, and I am fortunate to have her in my life.
Honestly 80 dollars for one hour is on the high end. With that being said I expected a decent massage. I even asked the lady to massage harder. It was a one hour rub down, mostly on my neck, which was too soft. She left the room twice, wants to answer the phone and once for no reason at all for almost 5 minutes total. I felt worse after I left. Won't be returning. Very disappointed 😞
