Zen River Spa

This place does not have reliable customer service and these people are thieves. I have yet to receive my deposit back. I booked an appointment and had to cancel. The cancellation policy states that the customer must cancel within 24 hours before their appointment. They took a deposit when I booked online and when I tried to cancel within the proper timeframe because I had something that came up, the message states that my deposit is not eligible to be refunded. I tried calling multiple times during business hours and no response. Mind you this is 48-72 hours before my appointment and I am not getting the help that I need to get my deposit back. I left a voicemail and they still refused to reach out. They have very unprofessional and rude customer service. I will be calling my bank to dispute. This explains the behavior that one of the other customers on this review page received when the owner lied saying they would offer them a refund when the customer confirmed they didn’t. Edit/Response to Owner: I never received a refund from you. I’m not sure why you have a habit of gaslighting customers but you did not refund anything. I feel sorry for whoever books at this establishment as these people have no home training.

I can write down a list of reasons but here is my 2 cents, I called them multiple times in past couple of months and they never cared to call me back, I recently booked online their massage as gift for my mother and before appointment they charged me 50$, I was looking for their spot for 30 minutes and couldn’t be there on time, I also called on the provided number on goggle and as usual no one answered and and they they send me an automated message and cared my card for the service they never provided, I understand the time slot but I still feel they have no right to charge me full for the service which was never provided. I called them and no reply . I don’t know but overall they sound sham to me . People may feel differently but I didn’t even have good experience with the lady who messaged me and instead of calming to down and making me a potential future client they didn’t even call me and send a text message of sorry . I would not recommend that place to anyone, I have had massages at many places and by far this was the worst experience

The good: I went in for pain and it helped my issue a lot. The bad: the massage therapist I had was delving into very sensitive topics including rape, their own tendencies towards violence, sex life, sexual orientation, drug use and other things while I was on the table. I’m all for being real. Way too comfortable with me. I felt as if I had to really put out my empathy more so than anything else as so not to ruffle feathers, and left feeling like that wasn’t really appropriate at all. I relayed the information to the business but was only offered a massage by another provider, though I wouldn’t want to have to return to the place as it made me uncomfortable. This experience took me a long time to recover from, and I feel like this would’ve been a disturbing experience for pretty much anyone. Edit: I relayed the exact things said to me to the owner. After an email and a message, she did provide a monetary refund to me, though that was not offered when we spoke on the phone.

I've had massages from both Rebecca and Victoria, and both have been fantastic. Booking online is easy. I always felt the response time was appropriate. Initially, it was a little difficult to find, but that was completely my fault, as I didn't read the direction instructions that were given clearly in the confirmation email!! The decor and ambiance are extremely calm and relaxing from the entrance to the massage rooms. I always leave feeling great!

I just had the Goddess Treatment massage and I could not recommend it more! The entire space is beautiful and calming, filled with flourishing plants and relaxing music. I’ve never had a massage that felt quite so customized, Rebecca found all of the tense spots I had and expertly melted the tension away. I highly encourage everyone to try this place out, and I can’t wait for my next appointment!!
