South Fork Park

This is Rebel's Review I stumbled onto this amazing layered, lush green, immaculate park with the hidden creek. Easy to get to with free parking. The vibrant blue basketball court catches your eye as you pass the tennis court. There are large handicapped accessible restrooms, covered picnic tables and a large playground area. The grounds are well maintained. Anybody who has read my reviews understands that littering our planet disgusts me. I always carry trash bags and contribute by helping clean the area. I couldn't find any trash; not even in the creek! There are large green strips of land stacked parallel to each other. I walked behind the playground thru a path and come to another long grassy hilled area that just seems to never end. There is a line of trees, find a path and walk thru it to find the hidden creek. Rebel found the creek or I might have not known it was there. The creek has small cascading water walls throughout with ledge and stone landings. Lots of fish, crayfish and snails for the kids to catch. The park is clean. I was there on a Friday afternoon nobody was at the park. The picture of the courts didn't come out but I will add them when I go again. Plenty of shady grass to sit and relax. And it is all FREE. Rebel gives it a paws up!,

Wonderful park! Extremely quiet and clean, with a very nice playground and basketball and volleyball courts as well. The restrooms are immaculate, and the disc golf is a lot of fun! But the bridge over the creek is the real diamond of this park. It is brand new with a beautiful view of the flowing water. The only gripe I have, and it is very minor, is that the walking path does not circle the entire park. Otherwise, this is a really special little place!

The only thing I can complain about is they need more picnic tables for other people who are doing birthday parties. Bc if someone had it reserved, then no one can use THE only picnic tables there is at the park. But other than that, looove the park, the creek & the big open fields, an awesome place for kids of all ages!

This could be a nice park to visit, but the people that frequent it ruin it. Trash is left everywhere, kids are left unattended, and kids ride e-scooters and e-bikes all over the playground. The park is right next to some sketchy apartments and is an interesting area. Avoid at all costs.

A beautiful park with a beautiful creek towards the back and a unique walking trail which takes you through a Disk Golf park and through a picturesque red bridge. With Autumn upon us, the leaves are falling and the color of the leaves are changing! Now is the perfect time to go!
