Legend Pot 2159 Staring Ln, Baton Rouge, LA 70808 #tonylameats If you’ve never had hot pot, think of it as building your own soup masterpiece. You choose your broth, and it comes out simmering right at your table. Then you cook your own meats, seafood, noodles, and veggies in real time; every bite fresh, hot, and exactly how you like it. I went with the Chinese herbal broth, and it was clean, refreshing, and packed with subtle depth that made every cut of meat taste even better. Now pair that with Korean BBQ, where you grill premium meats yourself on a tabletop grill. Watching the beef sizzle, caramelize, and crisp up while controlling the cook level? That’s part of the experience, and honestly half the fun. Legend Pot brings it all together with all-you-can-eat hot pot, Korean BBQ, and sushi, so the variety never ends. From thin-sliced beef rolls to fresh seafood and sushi options, there’s always something new to throw into the broth or on the grill. It’s the kind of place where every round feels like a new flavor adventure. Legend Pot is known for its customizable broths, delicious meats, fresh vegetables, seafood, and handcrafted sushi, all designed to create an interactive and memorable dining experience. If you haven’t tried Legend Pot yet, give it a shot. Come hungry.. and leave legendary. #batonrouge #hotpot #koreanbbq #ayce
Visited Legend Pod on their first day of opening. It’s an all-in-one place offering Korean BBQ, sushi, and hot pot, which is an interesting concept, but the execution feels a bit scattered. The Korean BBQ was the weakest part of our experience. The grill burned very easily, and the oil was kept in the server’s apron, so we couldn’t add oil ourselves. When our grill burned, we had to ask for a replacement pan. The flavor of the BBQ itself was just okay, nothing memorable. For hot pot, we ordered one spicy broth and one Herbal Chinese herbal soup base. Both were decent and fairly standard. However, the portion sizes of the hot pot ingredients were quite small, so you need to order more items to feel satisfied. The sushi was actually well done and probably the highlight of the meal. Service felt a bit understaffed. It sometimes took a while to get attention, especially for BBQ-related needs like adding oil. Overall, it was a fine experience and worth trying once. Everything was okay, but since the menu tries to do too many things, nothing really stood out enough for me to come back for a special occasion.
Tried Legend Pot and pleasantly surprised. I really liked that you can do hot pot, BBQ, and sushi all in one place, which makes it great for groups. My favorite part was the Chinese herbal hot pot soup base — it’s flavorful but not heavy, and everything you cook in it just tastes better. The seafood especially stands out, it came out really fresh and naturally sweet without needing much sauce. There also sauce bar let you mix your own flavor. Their meat selection is solid too. Lastly, our server Sophia was super nice. She helped with explaining the ingredients of the soup base, also gave us some nice recommendations on the meat selection. The food came out fast, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, a great all-you-can-eat spot when you’re really hungry and want variety.
The sashimi salmon mango was really refreshing — salmon can get heavy easily, but the mango and sauce make it light and surprisingly addictive. The Rainbow Naruto is also a nice, creative option that feels fresh and different from typical rolls. For the BBQ, my personal favorites were the LA short rib and the steak with house sauce. Both had great flavor, and the house sauce pairs especially well with the steak without overpowering it. Plus, you can also add hot pot to the mix at Legend Pot, which makes the whole experience even better.
