Woodhouse Spa

I had a disappointing first experience with Woodhouse Spa in Baton Rouge. A same-day waxing appointment was booked for me, but it conflicted with another commitment. I called immediately to reschedule, explaining that I had just moved to Baton Rouge, that this would have been my first visit, and that I hadn’t personally made the booking. I asked if they could offer a one-time courtesy reschedule. They declined and informed me that rescheduling would incur a penalty of half the service cost. As someone who waxes regularly, I’m accustomed to more flexible policies. For example, European Wax Center allows straightforward rescheduling without additional fees. Customer service matters, especially when establishing a new client relationship. Unfortunately, this rigid policy cost them a potential long-term customer.

Today was my 1st time visiting Woodhouse Day Spa in Baton Rouge!! My experience was 10/10!! I was greeted warmly, showed to the changing area, and quite space, where there was a name cozy chase and rosè waiting for me! Loved it!! Jalicia was my massage therapist and did a wonderful job making sure I was comfortable, making adjustments were needed and I really loved my appointment with her. Lexi did my body treatment which was amazing! I struggled a little with feeling deserving as a plus size person at the spa getting this kind of treatment but she reassured me, and make me feel very comfortable. I definitely recommend this spa to anyone needing just a little relaxation!! Looking forward to my next trip!

One word AMAZING from setting up the appointment to our spa treatment. It was my first time going and getting a spa the receptionist Kaitlyn was so sweet explain it all and even suggestions what we may like. Jalicia and Ashley was absolutely the best, Jalicia was so good I was so relaxed and didn't realized our time was done. We we're gifted a spa treatment for our birthday and it was worth it, we definitely would be back, I loved every minute of it. Manicure and pedicure service is not worth the cost. You leave with polish over unmanicured nails and toes. Maybe other services are perfected. Not the place to get Manicure pedicure especially for price. I reached out manager requesting a f refund,no reply. I received a call from an employee requesting pictures. The price for a manicure and pedicure was 120.00. All I getting is that the tell is new... Inexcusable

I wanted to pamper myself for my 45th birthday so I decided upon a nice relaxing visit to the Woodhouse Day Spa. This was my second visit and they did not disappoint. The staff were warm and inviting along with the overall ambiance and atmosphere. And Nick was absolutely amazing! His hands are blessed!! Needless to say I will be returning and adding this to my self care routine ❤️. Highly recommended…10/10!
