Paradise Float Spa

Paradise goes to hell with new ownership. I've been here multiple times, brought friends and family and loved it. But after my experience last night and dealing with the new owner, NEVER again. I bought 2 90 minute floats for my friend and I. The water was too warm (not body temp as it's supposed to be) and within minutes, my skin was burning and tingling. It got so bad, I got out after about 20 minutes. washed multiple times, but even a day later, my skin is still burning. feels like being in an over chlorinated pool. I let the young lady at the desk know, I paid for our floats and asked to come back to have my full float experience. the owner showed up. His responses to my experience? "this is my family's money, no one has ever had an issue before". not once did he show concern. He said the young girl there had no authority to give me a session and he would give me 50%. I said I don't expect to pay anything. He was defensive and got more aggressive. When I offered to show him how dirty the rooms were, he refused saying "we just redid the entire place!". Then said "now I'm not giving you anything". His lack of professionalism and outright aggressiveness got me upset and I got aggressive back (I shouldn't have let him get me that upset but when you're that rude, dismissive and insulting, it's hard not to respond). Then he told me to get out and never come back, continuing even as I was leaving. Like I was ever going to go back after the way he treated me as a customer. Not to mention the impact it had on my friend seeing his behavior. If the $160 I paid has such an impact on"his family's money", I am not surprised that he's let this once beautiful paradise get so dirty and badly maintained. There was a white residue and powder all over the walls in the private tank rooms. The plastic caddies on the wall that held q-tips and a few other things were disgusting. there were piles of this white powdery residue in the caddy and coating everything. It was the same in the other tank rooms, including my friend's. *see pics This is not a business or owner that I will ever go back to, bring/refer other people to and will let anyone who mentions float therapy to go anywhere else but Paradise Float Spa.

First experience and I was pleasantly surprised how relaxed I was. I almost fell asleep twice in the hour i was in the chamber. You float very easily, and i love the head disc so you're not self conscious about keeping your head and face above the water. I'm not leaving 5 stars becuase overall it's a very... wet experience. Theres a lot of condensation and humidity going on that you can see it seeping from the walls and those yellow drips are in the chamber when you walk in. Overall a wipe down before each guest would be useful and better air flow in the building would help. But I would recommend going for the experience

This was our first experience and really enjoyed it!!!!! Very clean, professional, relaxing, and the videos on the website show you everything you need to know before your first float. I liked that I could control the lights and leave the door open a little to the shower area of my suite until I felt comfortable enough to close it. You will feel like you’re floating in space - light as a feather. Keep in mind the chamber is 7 feet long so if you’re very tall like my husband (6ft5) there is not much room for your arms to float above your head if that’s what your body is inclined to do.

Love this place! I had tried another salt water float place and hated it, (felt cramped, water cold, etc), but decided to give this place a try and it was a much better experience! The staff really makes sure you feel comfortable and know what to expect, and I'm a big fan of the starlights in the chamber so I can ease into the sensory deprivation. Also really appreciated the staff working with me on scheduling. Will definitely be back!

Just tried this for the first time 37 week’s pregnant. It was so nice being able to float on my back and belly! I was given a noodle for extra support for flipping on my belly. This helped relieve my back aches and was a huge stress relief. I liked that you could adjust the lighting in the float pod. The pod smelled weird but appeared to be very clean. Definitely a cool experience and I feel amazing!
