Falls Pond
Been going there for years with my family & all the little ones, relatively clean up until last summer with the change of the life guards. Unfortunately, I end up picking up some of other's cups, trash, left behind because the new lifeguards do not pick up. I even asked them if the would, however, they left it. Other than that it is wonderful, my family & I wish they'd go back to the previous lifeguards. Also, we would be able to stay until dusk, not anymore, no you need to PROMPTLY be OUT by 5pm. Not easy to load everything up that quick when you have little ones with you.
This is my favorite place to go in the summer when it is just too hard to drive forever and ever or there is nowhere else to go because there's a holiday. It's laid back family friendly and recently updated the only thing I would like to see is that the beach be a little larger and a little more shade but I've been saying that for years. My kids love it my dog loves it and my spouse loves it can argue with that!!!😁😃 👍
I like Falls Pond As It Is An Town Of N.Attleboro's Reservoir And Small Beach/Boat landing Which Has an Island in the Middle Of The Water The Reservoir Is Surrounded with Nicely Wooded Neighborhoods and Houses And is Located Nearly Behind THE Residential Famous 1970's "JOLLY CHARLIE'S FAIRGROUND".
Good place to bring the grandchildren. Too rocky in the water so be sure to wear some old sneakers in the water. Must leave too find restroom facilities and come back. We bring a little picnic. Kids are happy and that's what counts.
OMG, this is my new favorite place to kayak! I feel blessed to literally have it in my back yard! Plus, the last time I went (a couple of days ago), there were TWO lifeguards on duty!!!
