Spa Grand Traverse
I visited for a lash tint and lift, but unfortunately, the results are nonexistent. My lashes are tinted, but one side has a barely-there curl and the other isn't curled at all. The process itself was very uncomfortable; the technician applied significant pressure to my eyes and left a bright light on unnecessarily. Unlike other local spots at lower price points, there was zero effort toward client comfort (no neck or hand massage during the setting time). To top it off, they auto-add a 20% gratuity and will question you in front of other customers if you try to adjust it. This feels like a business charging for its "prime location" rather than the quality of its work. Save your money and find a local professional who can actually deliver a lift.
Rachel was lovely, kind and respectful! Atmosphere was great! I was truly disappointed in the extras and add on services that they were included in the 50min time block that I had dedicated to massage. The quality of add ons was ok but since that took away from the message I was even less impressed. The prices were rather steep for services received.
I guess, being in a resort, the pricing for a massage would be a "little" inflated, but this is ridiculous! Not even receiving a full 60 mins! Are they charging this much because they provide you with temporary sandals and a robe?? Comparing with local downtown salon prices, I feel the Resort Spa over-charges and under-delivers. #Unimpressed
I’m posting this mostly for my self because I had the absolute best massage of my life here today by Jake and I want to remember his name for when I return to the area in October. I scheduled a 50 min deep tissue massage and I have literally never had a better massage (I get massages monthly). Truly wow. 10/10.
Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere and amenities. All providers are skilled and knowledgeable. Best massages and facials! Always leave feeling 10/10!
