Body & Sol Aveda Salon & Spa

What could be a nicer gift to give yourself or someone else who is spending many Minnesota winter days at home just now? Body and Sol has been one of my go-to places for many years to get spa products for myself or to give as gifts. I’ve bought their essential oils and prefer the lavender eucalyptus fragrances. I have used them on my lightbulbs with an oil diffuser to disperse the fragrance in the room. The Rosemary Mint All Sensitive Body Formula helps to end a workday and prepare for a good night’s sleep. The Aveda Stress Fix is wonderful for unwinding amidst the stressed of COVID-10 and social isolation. They have a men’s skincare line too. A few summers ago, I gave a special man in my life the saving cream and aftershave combo for Father’s Day. My daughter has used their stylists and was very pleased. She did both a haircut and color. Being local residents, it nice to have a beauty salon in Lakeville like this. One of the things we really enjoy doing together is having duel pedicure appointments and share the outing together. Body & Sol has a purchase award plan that makes it easy to save money and still have an exceptional product. The staff is professional, cheerful, and truly knows their products. We like supporting the Avada line because they have lead the industry in being environmentally responsible. The products are not just good for you/me; they respect our land and its natural elements.

I have been going to Body and Sol for a few years now, but I have never loved my hair as much as I have in this last year. I had Maddie for my summer hair appointment and she did NOT disappoint!! She understood the assignment for sure. And then, just yesterday, I had Brooklyn for my first all-over color and WOW!! I am so beyond pleased and will continue recommending Body and Sol (and brooklyn and maddie) to all of my friends!!

Amazing and therapeutic massage with Klohie. Came in with shoulder pain and a lot of tension and she did a one hour deep tissue massage focused on my back. She did an incredible job - reduced pain and eliminated the tension in my neck and back. Enjoyed the beautiful and relaxing environment at Body & Sol. Staff was professional, welcoming and attentive. Love that the salon uses Aveda products and tea.

Went in for trim and needed it shaped up. She used a razor and I ended up with a chunk of hair missing over my ear, and it's now so short I can't do anything with it. It was quite an expensive haircut so I expected a quailty cut and style. I didnt even get a style, just a blow dry!! Nothing even close to what I had asked for. It will take months to grow back. VERY unhappy!!!

I've been a loyal customer at Body & Sol Aveda for about 8 years, and Jenni has always been my go to stylist. She does an amazing job with both color and trims, which is why I keep coming back. The salon itself is always clean, cozy, and welcoming. If you're looking for a new salon, I highly recommend giving Body & Sol Aveda in Lakeville a try!
