A True Five-Star Experience — Like a Mini Bellagio Spa Right in Roseville 2026 Update — VIP for Life (Didn’t See That Coming) On my most recent visit, Woodhouse somehow made an already exceptional experience even more special. I was welcomed into a private VIP room with my own locker and a robe embroidered “Woodhouse Spa VIP.” The room itself was beautiful, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. The staff could not have been more friendly, thoughtful, or genuinely kind — everything felt effortless and personal, never forced. Being told I was welcomed as “VIP for life” honestly caught me off guard, and I didn’t think it was possible to love this place more than I already did. At this point, I may have a slight addiction — but if you’re going to be addicted to something, this is a pretty great choice. 2025 Original Review: A True Five-Star Experience — Like a Mini Bellagio Spa Right in Roseville I’ve been to Woodhouse Spa in Roseville at least ten times now (no exaggeration) and already have several more appointments booked — it’s truly that good. From the moment you walk in and they hand you a warm towel, every detail feels thoughtful, calm, and designed to help you unwind. Each visit starts in the dressing area where a robe and slippers are waiting in a locker with your name on it — it really makes you feel like they were expecting you. The photo I posted of the relaxation chair with my name tag, tea, and blanket says it all — it’s that level of care and comfort. The quiet room is one of my favorite parts. It honestly feels like something you’d find at the Bellagio in Vegas — just a bit smaller but every bit as elegant and relaxing. The fog fireplace in the waiting area adds to the spa’s signature atmosphere. Every massage I’ve had here has been excellent, and the staff are always friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. This place really knows how to make you feel taken care of. I’ll absolutely keep coming back.
I had my first experience at Woodhouse on New Year’s Day thanks to a gift card for a facial for Christmas! I was so excited to try somewhere new as I love getting facials. I loved the spa, it smelled amazing and was truly very welcoming and cozy! I was a little bummed because afterwards I realized my esthetician felt a little more sales pitchy than what I usually experience. Every concern I brought up about my skin she just said I needed a hydrafacial and that would help ($300+ service which I don’t doubt is incredible). I think she pitched it 3 times during my service. She asked what I was using in my skincare routine (which I tailor for my rosacea) and she just said “hm.. well you should really use the iS Clinical hyaluronic acid serum we have” and I asked what kinds of ingredients it had that were good for rosacea specifically and she just said “botanicals.” Which wasn’t super educational or informative but she pitched it 3-4 times. I also added the additional $25 gua sha service after seeing videos online and learning of the benefits. She was hardly using any pressure and was just kind of softly running it along the outer parts of my face, so I asked if the pressure mattered less than the movement of the tool and she said “oh it’s more about placement” and continued. I think she used the gua sha for just a couple minutes and it really didn’t feel like it was worth the upgrade, both in time spent and technique. The arm massage during my mask treatment was also very light and didn’t really do much for me. Maybe it was just my esthetician that I didn’t vibe with, but either way it was just kind of an odd experience that didn’t really live up to the Woodhouse hype.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. My fiancé and I came here a few weeks ago for a couples massage. When we walked in, the place was absolutely beautiful however it stops there. We did arrive FIVE minutes late because of the weather. We were then taken back to the locker rooms and I was told my robe and sandals were waiting for me in my locker. I noticed my locker was empty so I had to get dressed and go find someone. I later found out my fiancé had to ask as well. We were told a text was sent out for our sizes in which we never received that text. As a professional business I am not sure why they wouldn’t call me or try to text again or even ask when I arrived. When we got into our massage it was extremely loud and almost impossible to relax by how hard the pressure was and the consistency of the massage. The pressure was so hard, I had several bruises on my back when I left. (I even verbally asked for light pressure) We also paid for a 50 minute massage and received a 30 minute one. (Granted we were late, but only by 5 minutes so I am not sure where the other 20 minutes went. We have had many massages and we wanted to love this place but after expressing my concerns kindly, they deleted my last review and never got back to me even after replying to me and stating someone will be reaching out to me. I’ve looked more into woodhouse and many people have had great experiences, but we did not and the way the facility has handled this, I will not be recommending woodhouse to anyone. I would highly recommend to go somewhere more welcoming and comforting because this is not the place.
Absolutely outstanding customer service—thank you, Caitlyn! I originally left a less-than-perfect review after some issues during my massage. However, management reached out immediately, and Caitlyn, the VP of Operations, went above and beyond to make things right. She listened, responded quickly, and genuinely cared about my experience. Her dedication to resolving my concerns was impressive, and thanks to her, I’m excited to return to Woodhouse! As for the spa itself, there’s so much to love. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, with a cozy lounge featuring tea, water, snacks, blankets, and a fireplace. The facilities are spotless and modern, with stunning décor and soaring ceilings. Every staff member I encountered was warm, polite, and eager to make my visit special. After my massage, I was checked on in the lounge and offered a soothing lavender neck wrap—such a thoughtful touch. And the little surprise of a Lindor truffle in the locker was the cherry on top. Book your appointment with confidence! I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
I’ve been to the Roseville Woodhouse for a couple of services over the last several months and can confidently give five stars. I was recently able to get an appt with Gina for a massage after experiencing a couple days of neck/shoulder and back ache and stiffness. Let me tell you she was absolutely phenomenal! Truly!! I told her what I was experiencing and she quickly made a strategic plan for me to have an amazing treatment. I walked out feeling so much less tense and able to move more freely. Thank you Gina!! I’ve also had pedicures from Hong and she is genuinely so skilled and a delightful person. I’m always very happy with how it turns out and she’s a calm and caring presence during the service. Thank you Hong!! You are amazing! The staff at this location are consistently kind and accommodating. All around great spa environment and great vibes. It’s really nice to have a place like this I can count on for spa services!
