Big Medicine Hot Springs
Wonderful zen sulfuric pool… you can tell the water is extremely nutrient rich! I’d guess the temps were 105+. Very steady inflow keeping the pool crisp and clean! There are 2 bathrooms, bucket flush, and some hooks to hang your clothes. Honor system $5 per person as you enter. Could definitely be spruced up as it’s surrounded by a barbed wire fence… owner came up and yelled at some dirt bag van lifers for having their dog. Signs clearly say no dogs, don’t be those people that think their special and rules don’t apply to them! I don’t want poo runoff in my tubs either. 9.7/10 experience. Will definitely visit this hot spring again!
We love Big Medicine Hot Springs (or Lloyd’s as people around town call it). Just about a mile from the center of town, seems to attract a lot more locals than out of town soakers. Bring cash, and be prepared to get booted just before sunset, so allow plenty of time. Also, strict no alcohol policy for those who like to enjoy an adult beverage while soaking. :)
The water was nice but the having to use a bucket that is right Next to the toilet to get water out of the soaking pool to flush the toilet is Disgusting. Place is not maintained, pool bottom was slimy. There's no water in shower to rinse off with before using pool. One woman was washing her hair in the pool and soap & body grime floated on the surface.
Big Med is a treasure. If you are looking for a Glenwood Springs experience, please pass on by. This is a rustic, down-to-earth location and is as expected after reading other reviews. Expect people of all ages and walks of life. Best $5 I have spent in a long time. Expect to feel out of your body after a soak. Absolutely awesome.
Raw and rustic, but super fun. $5 drop box - so bring cash! There are benches and hooks available under cover and a changing room if needed. Hot spring water was amazing - not super hot but perfect for a nice long bath. Met lots of cool people, some local and a few out of towners. We will definitely be back.

Make a day of it — a quick-dry towel, dry bag, and post-soak layers take almost no pack space.
