Lawtons Hot Springs
The hot springs are either in the river &/or behind the fenced off & closed River Inn property (formerly Lawton's Hot Springs). As such, they are inaccessible or unusable. It's a beautiful area with an interesting history; but there's nowhere to go for a soak that we could find (as of the fall of 2020). Note: The Google maps location shown is incorrect - the hot springs & surrounding defunct River Inn resort are actually about 1/3 mile to the west, down next to the Truckee River.
I gave a a 2 star only because it was a nice view, as far as hot springs; ...I must be blind, because I didnt see any
You need a tile setter from the 80s to fix them bathrooms back to their time stamp.
Google has the wrong location. But it doesn't matter because it's shut down anyway.
Cool place but it’s not open anymore and you can tho in. Cool to look at though.

Make a day of it — a quick-dry towel, dry bag, and post-soak layers take almost no pack space.
