Golden Day Spa

My first time visiting and definitely won't be the last! I love getting massages but I always feel rushed at other places. Even with the longer services, I am just getting relaxed closer to the end. This was the most intentional and thorough massage I've ever had! Josie paid attention to the problem areas I listed on my intake form. My tension was practically gone and I was able to sleep without readjusting. My facial wasn't the best, but I was able to relax after some time. Only real issue there was I had to ask about the treatments and my specialist was on the phone a few times. Four stars because it's a no frills spa and I like a little frill with my pampering! Overall, for the price (I took advantage of a special-$100 for the facial and massage), service, and intention I enjoyed my visit to Golden Day Spa!

I recently visited Goldan Day Spa at 1185 Yonkers ave, and I must say it was an incredible experience! Helen, the owner and her team have created an amazing sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation. The massages are truly exceptional, tailored perfectly to relieve tension and stress. The spa itself is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and exudes a peaceful ambiance that immediately puts you at ease. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warmth and professionalism. Every detail, from the soothing music to the calming aromas, is thoughtfully designed to enhance your experience. I highly recommend Goldan Day Spa to anyone looking for a top-notch spa experience. Helen Runa and her team have truly set a high standard for excellence in both service and atmosphere. I can't wait for my next visit!

I will say I was very disappointed with my massage. The staff were friendly, and accommodating, however the masseuse I got did not live up to what I expected. She basically rubbed oil on my back most of the massage, no routine, and I paid for “deep tissue”. I’ve had many massages from lots of places, and I must say this ranks pretty much at the bottom. I’ve had better massages from mall kiosk massage places. I doubt I will return. Only reason I gave 2 stars is, they were very accommodating, in terms of setting up an appointment.

I came in today to get a facial. It wasn't busy and I walked in. My mom got rear ended into on cross county parkway and needed my attention. (we weren't that far into the facial about 20 minutes). She charged me full price knowing the situation. I didnt argue, i was respectful and told her that i would pay what she thought was fair. I came to this location 3 times before and they give good service. But I would of expected them to use better judgement. Won't be back.

Unfortunately, my recent massage experience was not what I expected. The therapist seemed to have very little experience, moving quickly from one muscle group to another without much consistency. I found the pressure to be too firm, and when I requested a to be lighter, the pressure increased. Communication was also challenging as the therapist's English was limited. I unfortunately had to shorten my session after about 10 minutes.
