This was certainly my favorite spa facility that I will be attending from here on forward. This place offers a free sauna, free locked locker, and free hot tea as part of their service. It is immaculately kept and definitely polite. My masseuse spoke English well so that my requested area of concentration relative to the massage, was understood. Post my massage, they offered wearing apparel so that my personal effects will not be soiled. Truly a wonderful experience overall and a definitely a must attend. In all honestly, I read a review by a client named Montanvali who objectively disbarrished this spa after admittedly offering a measly 10 dollar tip to a massuse who according to his words, did a great job. My question in the worker’s defense, where in New York City can anyone survive with a 10.00 per hour wage?! Customarily, a massage is a disposable income obtainable service. If you don’t have it, you can’t and should not get nor expect it. These masseuse rely on tips (similar to wait staff) to make a living. It should not be at their expense. I say this because it infuriates me when something great gets unfairly tarnished by someone who is nearsighted on their lack of appreciation for an extension of generosity from a micro-business owner who is trying to survive in a very competitive market place. Mr. Montanvali review is misguided and speaks to his ignorance on how society operates.
First time customer here. My overall experience was great except for the ending (second paragraph). You can always tell a lot about a place by their bathroom. It smelled amazing and very clean. I was offered cold water after my massage and I needed that, thank you. I didn't get a picture of the room but it was clean. My masseuse was Xingmow. I probably butchered the spelling sorry. She was incredible. I'm a big guy so I was worried she wouldn't be able to give me enough pressure for deep tissue massage. I was wrong!!! One of the best body massage I received. I will be back. (The ending) They loss a star due to the receptionist who was rude in my opinion. I gave a $10 tip which I feel was a good tip. He literally told me "tip no good." I was insulted. The economy is not easy, people give what they can. If anything increase your price for the service than, so people don't have to tip. All in all I would recommend this location for a great massage. Parking is tough in the area.
This place is amazing! Saw this place on Instagram. Was having a pretty bad blockage in my ear, so traveled 2 hours from The Bronx to try them out. They were nice even though I was a bit late. The woman who saw me was great. She kept saying "oh my god" the whole time which was hilarious to me. Loved her calming demeanor because it was my first time and I was nervous. She even had a camera and could show me the before and after which was pretty cool. She had to upgrade from the original package that I chose after taking a look with the camera but was upfront about the pricing and it felt fair. Clipperless pedicure was very nice as well. I would say be prepared to tip $20 per person but the service is worth it.
I had such an amazing experience here! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in. My massage therapist was so attentive, they immediately noticed the knots in my neck, left shoulder blade, and lower right back without me even having to say much. The pressure was perfect, and I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. You can really tell they know what they’re doing and genuinely care about helping you feel better. Highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for real relief and great service!
Overall, this was a good spa day. Unfortunately, our time was mismanaged and our service providers did not create an overall relaxing environment. We booked our services ahead and yet they still began 35 minutes late. My one hour massage ended 10 minutes early and I had to ask that my full time be honored, and they still ended 5 minutes early. Our service providers rushed us to each of our services and they were also chatting and laughing at full volume throughout which made it difficult to relax.
