I have been to quite a few spa's over the years and this is a great health spa. I have needed massage therapy for a number of years due to neck and back issues. Helen is very knowledgeable on what makes the body feel better. More importantly she is obviously a very caring person, and you can tell by the effort she has put into this beautiful establishment. When I stopped in I was very impressed with how clean, and welcoming the spa feels. The atmosphere is perfect, and I felt myself drifting into a very relaxed state in the first 10min. Everything in the shop feels like some carefully selected/designed it. I will be back, and highly recommend this spa. <<<UPDATEf<<< Back for 3rd visit. If you are one of those people who only feels good knowing the shop is run by a trained professional you can feel at ease. She is formally trained/certified. And again the design of the spa makes you feel comfortable right away. The results of my 3rd visit was enough to tell me I can make this my regular fix the back N neck spa... So I took advantage of the pay in advance pricing. I payed for 6 hours, and I was given this beautiful Chinese tea set. It looks amazing! See photos. Now it is not something I would normally drink tea from, but I decided to give it to an important lady in my life( My Mom ). OMG she went crazy over the tea set she loves it! I earned more brownie points for this tea set than I could have imagined. So if you are looking for a great back massage, foot massage, or a facial I highly recommend the Sunflower Spa.

Helen’s elbow is a force to be reckoned with! As an office worker who sits too much and works at a computer all day, the massage and bodywork was much needed. Helen and the lady at the front don’t speak fluent English but you can get by. I did 90 minutes bodywork and Helen was so good! Ironed out the stiffness in my neck and traps, and my lower back too. If you’ve never gotten chinese bodywork done before, don’t expect a soothing light Swedish massage that’s surface level. The masseuse will target your knots and try to work out the tension so you leave feeling relaxed and more loose, even if certain areas feel sore after DIRECTIONS: - head upstairs to the second floor in Samanea - walk towards Cheesecake Factory - the spa is in the same corridor as Cheesecake factory, diagonally across from the restaurant INSTRUCTIONS FOR MASSAGE - take off everything except undies (ladies, remove the bra) and hang everything on the hooks - lie face down on the bed and put your face in the hole - put the blanket over yourself - enjoy the massage! They’ll start with massaging you through the blanket first before using oil and hot stones Tips: - try to tip generously and bring cash for a discount. It’s a lot of hard manual work for the price they charge (compared to $200+ at other places) - pee before your appointment (there’s restrooms near the to be opened food court area on the second floor) - tell them where you need extra attention like lower back or legs/feet - call to make an appointment so they have a masseuse lined up

First time going here after my friend recommend it to me. My lady was named Lily or lili. I gave the correct amount of money for my $90 min massage and yes there was a language barrier, but she was clearly upset I didn’t give her more tip on top of the tip I already had given her. She was arguing with me in broken English and my friend had to step in because she was getting more aggressive in tone. There was also a fight between two masseuses here (very loud argument) and one of the masseuses pushed the other into my friend’s body massage room while she was in there. Such a bad impression for a first time visitor of this place. Will not be returning! How disappointing of an experience and scary considering how aggressive she was being to a younger girl

Initial review, 2024 (5 stars): Amazing massages, clean, & easy to schedule. So happy to have found a place nearby! Edit as of Nov 2025: I've been back a few times since my initial review and my experiences have just gone downhill. From swapping the agreed upon masseuse without discussion, to guilting me into a higher tip, our masseuses chatting with each other during a double massage with my mom, and shorting my mom 10 min (the masseuse kept leaving to answer phones, talk to people outside) and still demanding a higher tip (>20%), I don't plan on going back. I didn't adjust my review the first time I had a negative experience because I figured it was a fluke, but I ended up having issues each time I went back.

I got a 90 min massage, it was ok. Atmosphere - if you don’t mind the constant noise from the mall outside and the smell of food, this is for you. Also, pay in cash they charge a $4+ fee for using your card and the tip isn’t optional. I got bullied into giving a $30 tip, for $90 massage I’m old school , 15% ,18%,20% or 22% of my choice. The masseuses got upset when I tried to leave a 20% tip of my choice and started making a scene, something I’ve never experienced before. I work in the service industry and I’m grateful for what I get. They were literally trying to hold my card hostage, could have been a language barrier but body language is universal. I won’t be going back there, it was all to weird.
