調和橋 (Chōwabashi)

Our family had the honor of enjoying the Onsen (Japanese baths) at Chowabashi as part of our holiday week. The efficient attendant Ben welcomed us at the door and we settled in for tea and treats. The history and tradition of Japanese bathing was reviewed by the gracious executive director who takes great pride in his authentic home. We then changed into our Yukata (traditional gowns) to head to the Onsen part of the house. The experience was so relaxing and healing! We felt amazing afterward. We so appreciated the opportunity to enjoy this treasure right down our street! ありがとうございます
Beautiful location. The main building is a spacious open concept with a home feeling. The spa is a very well layed out and relaxing space to be in. Food was excellent and a great expression of Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended.
