Nature Day Spa

I’ve debated for awhile on sharing a review because the owner was SO very kind and I thought over time my distain would subside, but it has not and I have to be honest. My husband booked this as a surprise for me and I was so excited to have a little spa day. Marissa did my massage was AMAZING, it was hot stone and then body scrub. It was the only good part of the experience, honestly. The front staff, I think her name was Taylee? Was absolutely awful. She didn’t greet me when I walked in, She was on her phone most of the time and didn’t explain anything to me about the steam room. There was no water or cool towels (both offered in the room, but were empty) and I spent 50 minutes in a room that was 112° with no water. It was my first time doing something like this so I was unfamiliar with how it worked and ended up with a really bad headache from dehydration. When it was done, I sat in the shower room and lounge area, no problem having to hang out in there, it gave me a chance to cool off. But honestly my anxiety was so high with not knowing what to do and no explanation of anything I spent most of that time crying because I felt so uncomfortable. My husband spent a lot of money to do this for me that we honestly didn’t really have and I’m so disappointed in how I was treated and the cleanliness of the spa. The shower was slimy when I stepped in which prompted me to look around and there was some kind of goop caked up around the edges and even a Bobby pin that wasn’t mine. After services were all completed Taylee (I know I’m not spelling her name right) asked how everything was and I told her that Marissa was great but other then that it was an awful experience. She didn’t apologize, didn’t ask why, was silent. Maybe she just didn’t want to be there, I’m not sure, she was terrible. The owner did call and profusely apologized and addressed the cleanliness issue, explained how steam was supposed to work and apologized again. She did offer me a bath soak if I wanted to come back and try them again, my experience was so bad with the front staff though, I’m not sure I will go back. It’s a lot on me to be away from my children because I’m breastfeeding. It was truly like a once in a blue moon kind of thing for me. Going for a spa day shouldn’t end in headaches and tears, especially for what you pay for it. Im sad about it for the owner because she seemed really genuine and I hate that one single staff member ruined it. Edit to respond to the owners response: I didn't randomly wake up and decide to make a review, i sat with it so I didn't make an emotional review. Which, is a very healthy response. I understand the steam ($5) was taken off, and I in no way want to be refunded because i did receive that great massage. I did not and do not request that. Addressing concerns and implementing new processes didn’t make my experience any better. A review is something you leave about a service or product you received, not what they could have received or something that could happen in the future. It’s not my review that hurts your business, it’s the people you hire to run your business when you aren't around. Had you or someone else been there, I'm confident my experience would have been better. I did mention in my review that you offered a bath soak, and i also mentioned that it is hard for me to be away from my children and also, she made it so uncomfortable for me and your response to my honest review, that I'm not sure i want to return.

Couple BEWARE! They're 2 hour Couples massage is $200 per person! Which normally wouldn't be a bad deal however the service is not worth $400. My husband and I recently visited for a nice couples massage. The massage was good but very basic. No aromatherapy, no hot stones, and it seemed like the massage therapist was having trouble filling the 2 hour time slot. She kept pausing on random spots. She worked out my knots but also rubbed my butt cheek for twenty minutes straight. It wasn't a bad massage but it was definitely not worth the price point. We've gotten a similar priced massage and received so much more. I'm definitely more stressed now! Just some oil and that's it. I would not recommend to a couple wanting to have a nice date night.

I stopped by to get information about the services here. I was interested in threading for wrinkles. I don’t think the girls at front had a clue as to what I was talking about. I feel really bad for the people who work here and provide their services because the girls literally talked me out of getting anything done. They told me “threading hurts so bad and the other thing we do, some sort of wax thing they put on your face hurts too, all of it really hurts bad” idk but I don’t really want to have anything done where they cal a wax thing on your face. lol. Anyway I’ll find another place.

I have been to a spa before, but not quite like Nature Day Spa! It was my first time getting a bikini wax, so naturally I was nervous. I've booked with Madi a few times now, and every time I get a wax she makes me feel relaxed. She does great work, for a great price, and is always so friendly! I can't recommend her enough!

Tiffani was fantastic and so professional! I've had plenty of massages but this was my first prenatal massage. She listened and addressed the pain points I wanted to focus on (shoulders, lower back, pelvis) and I felt so much relief by the time I got home! Very nice staff, thank you ladies!
