Spaulding Park'
I enjoy sitting by the pond while eating my lunch. Many years ago they used to have monkeys 🐵 in a big enclosed area. My brother and I used to sit and watch them play. They were extremely entertaining and so much fun to watch, but from my understanding people started treating them mean 💔 and that's what caused the decision to do away with the monkeys. A lot of great memories here from being a child. I had several family members including myself that took her very first swim lessons at the swimming pool here. They have a very nice walking path here too as well as a little bridge that leads out to the little gazebo area over the water.
It is a good park I've been going to for years one of the best parts are they have a pool that is great for the kids and parents too! So it is a great park ( it's better than Robinson ) sorry to say that ! But the point is it's a good park I would recommend it for anyone and sometimes there are activities but sometimes you have to go because people set up birthday parties that's Also something else you can do is throw a brithday party! And I would recommend the swimming escpically !
Our family loves Spaulding Park! Our favorite is the pool! Which is only $1, has life guards, is in decent condition, and is pretty good size for a community pool. Our kids also love the playground, and I know that the tennis courts are really popular. Personally, I wouldn't come here after dark because of the transients, but during the day, it is a great park, especially the pool in the summer! Just wish it had better parking. (The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5.)
I'm going to give a four stars because it is pretty cheap and it was really fun. I'm taking one star though because they're only open in the hottest parts of the day and there's very little shade inside the pool. There are shaded picnic areas around the pool, but you're not allowed to bring anything to drink or eat into where the pool is at. Overall it was pretty fun though and I will be going back
We always enjoy the time there. The only reason I give it 4 starts is because the bathroom is always dirty and never has sanitizer or toilet paper, also it doesn't lock. They have a great pool and splash pad but you do have to pay to enter the splash pad where as other splashpads in the community are free.
