Bagby Hot Springs

The hike to the baths is beautiful and well maintained. It had been raining consistently for two weeks yet the trail was easily traversing and hardly muddy. The entrance fee is collected on-site or at a convenience store a bit before the trailhead. Public baths are well with visiting, though when it's crowded it can take forever to full then, and it can be difficult to gather enough cold water to make bath a reasonable temperature. Still, effort that goes into preparing the bath is part of the fun. The private baths are a bit uncomfortable and overall less appealing, and the restrooms are not well maintained.

Awesome public springs with old-fashioned tubs in antique soaking shacks. A few buildings are in disrepair and inaccessible, but overall the area was clean, well maintained, safe, and busy enough but not crowded. Excellent experience. If the rumors that funds are allocated for infrastructure improvements and additional tub installations, this will be amazing. Clothing optional, but no weirdos, and most people ask first. There is also a private tub away from the communal group for more comfortable bathing.

Sacred space! I had a great time! Make sure you know where you're going. Please make sure to be respectful of the space and others who are there to enjoy the healing waters. Please pack out everything you pack in so that others don't have to clean up after you and we can all enjoy this place for many years to come!

Go early to beat the crowds of people looking forward to a hot soak in the tubs. There are both public and private baths. If this was closer to me I would have gone more than twice, so take advantage if you are ever able to go. Do not forget the $5 fee for parking.

Beautiful short hike in with some little side trails to explore. Once we got to the hot springs, we waited for about an hour for our turn. Unfortunately, the single tubs are still out of service and there is caution tape wrapped all around its building.
