Very relaxing, I felt really rejuvenated after the soak! The spa like self care is amazing 🤩 they have massage 💆🏽♀️ therapy, a salt soak with relaxing waters and meditation 🧘🏽♀️ space, the cedar sauna 🧖🏾♀️ is just right to benefit your body & mind. The staff is very friendly and helpful to everyone and very welcoming when checking in for an appointment. I love that I can have this place in the inner NE Portland neighborhood in the city! Don’t have to drive too far for self care ✨ I felt a sense of relief when I left and lighter than ever! If you need a place for stress reduction and muscle/joint pain relief, this is the place for you! Clothing is optional but I wear a bikini 👙 and am super comfortable in the safe environment so it’s a great place to check out on your own or with a friend or partner. I can say a lot more but you will just have to experience it for yourself! 🕒🗓️ call 📞 to book or book online!

I have received truly great care from several practitioners there, both myofascial release and naturopathic care. Dr Juliette Soihl is an amazing Naturopathic dr. I see her in addition to my primary, and with her help I have regained so much of my health and vitality. I was recovering from an accident, brain injury, an abcess (Icu for 3 days) and heart and bp issues. These all happened over a 3 year time. I am also incredibly sensitive and empathic, so I have a different kind of system. I have come really far! She is calm, grounded, accurate, & listens. I am never over whelmed with her style of health care. I highly recommend her work and her knowledge.

This is a Portland gem. I started a monthly soak and sauna ritual with a friend last year and it’s been the best. The soaking pool and sauna are simple, but lovely, and always extremely clean. The people are respectful and low key. It’s not overly bougie, so it feels more approachable, something you can integrate into your care routine. I love their ground rules for keeping it a safe space. It’s all-around such a grounding and restorative environment. I have also gotten a couple massages, and they were both AMAZING. Thank you, Common Ground for the care you put into everything you do!

I stopped by Common Ground for the first time yesterday for a massage and spa session after hearing many good things from community members about the facility and practitioners. Betsy was my massage therapist—she was communicative, kind, trauma-informed, and really talented in her work. The massage left me feeling completely relaxed and grounded, and the full spa experience (sauna, soaking pool, cold shower) was incredibly relaxing and restorative as well. Can’t wait to go back!

My partner and I checked this place out while in town for Christmas since we've been comparing different styles of varyingly clothing-optional spa type spots in different cities, and this one just rose to the top for me. Their dedication to cultivating a comfortable, modern, and relaxing space for all to coexist in peacefully was a massive breath of fresh air to experience!! Can't wait to come back another time for your lovely spa tub and sauna amenities!
