I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible experience we had at The Salt Haven. My son had been struggling with a persistent cough for months, and we had tried countless remedies with little success. After just one session at The Salt Haven, his cough began to improve dramatically, and now he is completely healed. The owners, Jeremy and Jessica, are truly amazing. Their kindness and dedication to their clients are evident in every aspect of The Salt Haven. From the moment we walked in, Jeremy and Jessica made us feel like part of their family, offering support and personalized care that went above and beyond our expectations. The Salt Haven itself is a beautiful sanctuary. The serene and calming atmosphere provides the perfect environment for relaxation and healing. Each session in the exquisitely designed salt room was a peaceful retreat, and I could see the positive effects it had on my son’s health almost immediately. I am beyond thrilled with the results and highly recommend The Salt Haven to anyone seeking a natural and effective solution for respiratory issues. Jeremy and Jessica's holistic approach and the genuine care they offer make this place truly special. Thank you, The Salt Haven, for giving my son his health back and for being such a wonderful sanctuary for wellness!
Nice personable and friendly people. Easy to reserve a spot. I appreciate that this service is available in Salem. I don't like to write negative reviews, but this is meant to be helpful and constructive. Unfortunately in my opinion there is a lack of cleanliness with the infrared sauna. A few months ago I mentioned it to the owner and I think they cleaned the room shortly after my feedback and then apparently began to let it slip again. I want to warn anyone intending to use it to not expect the floors to be clean or the glass with sweat marks in the sauna to be wiped down between sessions. This has been noticed on several occasions. You might also want to bring your own towels and flip flops because you will be given only one towel to sit on which will leave you with the same one to wipe off with and nothing to protect your feet on the floor. Other than this the sauna works well and everything else seems fine.
We had a great time in the Halogenerator. The man who greeted us was super nice and informative. We got a tour of the whole place. And then settled in. I do wish they would have given us about 5-7 extra min on the timer to get ready to go in. Next time, I will ask for that as I feel they will accommodate. We left breathing easy and smelling great. Like the ocean. After about 10 min, you will start to taste the salt crystals from your lips. I recommend removing as many clothes as you're comfortable with (keeping on under garmets) so that your skin gets the effects, too. I also recommend wearing your hair down for a salted beachy look after. The closest Salt Cave/ Cabin to Eugene by about an hr.
Hands down the best wellness experience I’ve had in Salem! The red light therapy was everything I hoped for and great for skin health and overall recovery. The infrared sauna was deeply relaxing and finishing with time in the massage chair made it a complete mind and body reset. I loved it so much that I signed up for the wellness membership right away. The staff was welcoming and the whole atmosphere was exactly what you want from a wellness center. Can’t wait to make this a regular part of my routine. If you’re looking for red light therapy, infrared sauna, or just a place to truly unwind in Salem, this is it!
IG @momwhatsnextsalem I had an absolutely magical time at Salt Haven. I’ve never experienced red light or salt therapy before, so it was amazing that the owners walked me through everything with full detail. I was given a robe and took full advantage of the low heat salt sauna, red light therapy and salt room. It’s also completely safe for children and actually recommended for treating eczema, psoriasis and respiratory illness. The owners let me know that children are welcome and I will definitely be back!!
