Spa Light
Went to the spa for the day and it was just ok. Check in was easy. All the rooms were clean and everything was working as it should, plenty of towels and amenities. There were water fountains throughout so that you could stay hydrated. The robes and slippers were cozy, although I slipped a couple of times wearing the slippers on the wet floor. The restaurant there had some great food and drink options and everything was fresh and delicious. Where things went downhill: The bathouse was extremely noisy and not a "spa" feel as the people were talking over the noise of the hot tubs. The relaxation lounge has 8-10 chairs. That is not enough chairs for the number of people in the facility. The only other seating is hard benches or the restaurant. And the chairs were occupied by the same people, on their phones, on laptops, on tablets. Great for them, not so much for the other 90 or so people there that day. The front desk staff was nice for check in, but left it to us to walk around and figure everything else out on our own. The facility has a disjointed feel where you have to walk through the restaurant to go between the bathouse and the saunas. With the relaxation lounge pretty much in the restaurant. Overall we still had an enjoyable day, but I wouldn't do it again.
Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Relaxing at All What was meant to be a relaxing spa day turned into one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had. The facility was severely overcrowded — it felt packed “like sardines.” A spa should be a peaceful and restful environment, but this felt chaotic and stressful. There were simply too many people for the size of the space, and as a result, we weren’t even able to enjoy or access several of the amenities because everything was full. Unfortunately, the experience became even worse at checkout. The front desk staff member was rude and unprofessional. On top of that, she mistakenly charged me twice and overcharged me.Had I not carefully reviewed the bill, I would have been overcharged nearly $1,098 for the massage and day pass. That level of billing error is unacceptable, especially at a place that promotes relaxation and quality service. Instead of leaving refreshed, we left frustrated and disappointed. A spa should prioritize calmness, organization, and professionalism — and sadly, this visit delivered none of that. I truly hope management addresses both the overcrowding and the customer service issues. As it stands, I would not return!
1. I have never heard of the entrance fee not being included in the price of the service at a spa before. For the price of the entrance and service, you should just spend the extra money up front and go somewhere nicer like Mirbeau. 2. The towels are TINY, and there are no dedicated Western style showers anywhere in the spa. There are no size variations for the robe. There are not enough hooks or places to put your robe in the bathhouse, people were grabbing random robes after exiting the tube, super unhygienic. 3. The hot rock massage was great!! But, the treatment rooms are located at the entrance to the spa so it is noisy. 4. The entire place is set up very poorly. The dining area is right next to the lounge area so it is the opposite of relaxing, the dry saunas are very far from the bathhouse. There are little to no attendants walking around to monitor people being respectful. 5. Staff were using the exit door centrally located in a main hallway of the hall to go outside and smoke cigarettes. The hallway and relaxation room smells very strongly of smoke. Definitely consider going elsewhere…
It’s a lovely spa. I had a fantastic Swedish massage.. I think the front desk can do a better job at explaining what the water journey is. Also, it wouldn’t hurt to have someone walk you through the facility. Pre-warn people about the slick floors that I was told daily people complain about. That is located in the hot tub cold plunge area.! be very careful. I watched several people, including myself slip and catch themselves. The hot tub was not as hot as what most hot tubs are, and the steam room was barely putting out steam . We had to walk all the way to the reception area to have them rectify that . The cold plunge isn’t really consistent to other cold plunge as well . It was probably set at like 60. The Asian food that they have in the lunch area was just OK. The soup and smoothies were perfect. My sister‘s facial was spectacular . Loved the massage chair . We Noticed them on the way out. How do I realize they were there? I would’ve done it more than once.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience here today. After driving 40 minutes for my scheduled services, I was informed that the facilities were down— despite calling ahead to verify everything was working. The staff was completely unapologetic and made no effort to adjust the schedule or offer a solution. For a high-end spa with such expensive rates, the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was shocking. To top it off, I reached out to address my concerns and management never even responded. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values their guests.

Make a day of it — a quick-dry towel, dry bag, and post-soak layers take almost no pack space.
