Tokyo SPA

Walked in wanting a couples massage for me and my fiance. The owner said only have one person working, just her. So I told her to take my fiance because he was hurting in his back more than me. She took him back and started working on him until a person walked in wanting massages as well. She stopped to talk with him. He walked away, second person that walked in she offered to call somebody to work on him and Placed him in a room but never offered for anybody to be called for me as i was wanting a massage when I walked in the first time too instead my fiance was the one I chose to get the massage. She took 5 mins out to call somebody in on the phone to do the other person and cut my fiance off by 10 mins of his massage between phone call out 5 mins and stopping for 2 people to talk to while still charging $50. So his massage was only for 20 mins. Instead of offering for free massage at later time or a cut deal she was expecting a tip too but that wasn't given because she didn't make up the time for all the stopping. You would think on the weekend more than one person would be working but nope it was just her. Not great professional work on a business. Wouldn't recommend to anyone on weekends.

The massage itself was pretty good, it was how they handled me that was a problem. I called in and asked for a 60 minute appointment for $70 at 7:30pm. The massage lady insisted instead on 45 min for $60 which was confusing to me. I had asked for 60 minutes for $70. She did the massage which included a flip which was nice. Good pressure, technique, etc. I watch the clock closely and she started at 7:35 and ended at 8:17. So a 42 minute massage, not 45 minutes. She then asked me for a tip?! I explained on Google Translate (Japanese) that if you want a tip, you can't short change me on time. She demanded a tip and had a bad attitude when I explained that you can't take shortcuts if you want a tip. I do private consultations myself and I'm ALWAYS generous with my time. It shows customer appreciation. Sigh, I guess I have to go to another place for my massages.

I went to see Mandy on a whim the day before New Year's Eve, as my regular masseuse wasn't available. She made me feel comfortable and communicated very well. She was kind and courteous, considerate and technically sound. The atmosphere was relaxing and we enjoyed a wonderful conversation during my visit also. She was even sweet enough to give me a gift for my daughter on my way out! Service like this that goes over and above what's required is so rare these days! If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would! Will definitely return and become a regular client.

This was the worst massage parlor I've ever been to The elderly woman who massaged me looked very old and I expected her to be very skilled but I was utterly disappointed She even made me turn over and the massage was a pitifully short 41 minutes She also demanded a tip in the room and was extremely rude I really wanted to report this place I think it's absolutely not worth going to and please everyone don't go there

Saw Mandi today and she did a great job. They are always so accommodating whenever I call for an appointment they end up seeing me right away. Calling ahead is always the best way to make sure you can be seen but I know they take walk-ins as well. Very good and I will continue to go back regularly. Thank you ladies at Tokyo Spa. Everyone I have seen there has been wonderful but I will be asking for Mandi regularly
