The spa is overall a nice place when you walk in and the staff is very friendly. The reason for two stars is two main reasons, a the price for what you get is fairly underwhelming. My massage was average at best and honestly was not super relaxing. I felt the worker was not as well trained as someone for this price bracket of massage should be. Second, nowhere does it mention that you will be charged a huge service fee on top of your service price. I understand that some people don't tip accordingly but this should be an upfront and clear communication that your final price will include this. A. so you don't over tip in cash first and then have to think about getting it back; and B: if you're really not happy with the service partway through, you know to ask for a different person or something to make up for the fact that you'll be paying a huge service fee for something you're not satisfied with and thus forced to pay no matter what.

My three star review has nothing to do with the staff or services. The ladies were awesome, greeting us with smiles and some lemon water. Atmosphere is calming. What was disturbing was the fact that a "service charge" is assessed which will go to the service provider for gratuity. I had already tipped one provider a generous tip before I knew about this. I would have still given her a tip, but maybe not as much. This policy needs to be shared up front. I realize some customers aren't appreciative and are skimpy on tips and that is unfortunate. But the gratuity policy needs to be up front IMO.

Our second visit to spa. We had facials first visit and enjoyed. This visit was very disappointing. For such a high priced massage, it was clear the massage therapist was not of a callaber one would expect from a high end spa. It was listed boldly on my intake thar I had an allergy to lavender, yet lavender was used in towel placed to my neck. Also, there is a hidden service fee of 22% they hide. So even if your not satisfied your pay a tip. Will not be returning.

BEST MESSAGE EVER!!!! Kiara took such good care of me! We had a 50 minute couples message, they were able to get us in less than 2 hours from our initial phone call to check their availability. I will be back to the Mokara spa, if you are considering it you should go check it out for yourself you won't be disappointed!

A great experience. Started the day with a great massage and finished by the pool. Ivy made sure I was completely stress-free. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, especially April and Silvia. Olivia at the pool was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing day.
