Belmont Hot Springs

Belmont Hot Springs and RV Resort is a fantastic getaway spot! The accommodations are awesome, with plenty of picnic tables, spacious fire pits at the campsites, and well-maintained, warm springs (felt like 85-90°F) that were a delight even in chilly weather. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, always available to answer questions. The springs were awesome! We started at one and then ended up at the second, smaller (but warmer) spring. Unique touches like nibbling minnows and adorable spiral-shelled snails aplenty for the kids to try and catch. It was also neat to watch scuba divers while our chocolate lab had a blast swimming (though leash rules apply outside the springs). The picnic and playground areas were perfect for a family meal. Picnic tables are available about 20’ from the springs so you can pack a picnic and not go far. We opted not to camp overnight due to cold temperatures and windy conditions. While the sites are ideal for RVs, I’d recommend tent camping in warmer months. The park is clean, well-kept, and welcoming for groups, SO much fun for my party of 4 adults, 5 kids, and a dog. Bonus: the glamping tents are charming, and should be available after the electric hookups are added next next spring. Highly recommend this spot!

What a wonderful place to swim. The host was super nice. We arrived later in the afternoon so we only payed 15$ per person. While I wouldn’t say this was a HOT spring it is quite warm. The time I was there it was similar to a very warm bath. I think that temperature is better since it still allows you to swim around without over heating. I loved the fact they had those little fish that eat your dead skin. It tickles as they nibble on your feet and back. They’re a bit shy so you have to stay still if you want them to work on you. The spring’s edge had a porcelain slip feel. Very soft and lovely while you walk in the springs shallow area. We had a wonder time on Memorial Day. Just the 2 of us and a couple of ducks. We enjoyed the view of the mountains as we soaked in this gem of a hot spring.

The locals know something about this pool and they don't swim here, ever! I have been coming here for years and everyone knows me. I reserved a campsite for two nights. The second day I got an abusive call from Chrissy (New Management) telling me to move my camp and be out of the pools by dark or she would call the sheriff and have him issue a trespassing ticket. Thier employees told me it was just fine to camp there. That's the first I had ever heard about not being to camp at the ponds. I don't feel welcome here and I won't be back and the hundreds of people a I introduced to this place will know my story.

Investors this could be your next project, I have it no authority that this young venture would welcome a shot in the arm. Although I would refer to it as Belmont warm pond, I see no evidence of a spring let alone a hot one. You'll be swimmin wit da fishes...literally, and ducks. With no pleasant shallow wading sandy bottom this is no place for children or elderly. Having said that, after the long Provo-Salt Lake schlog drive day, a welcome low budget funky warm swim is lovely.

Nice place to go scuba diving. Price was $20 per person to dive. They do offer a 10% discount for military. The hot spring was 83-93F so really nice as far as temperature goes. Deepest we got while diving was 29 ft. The water, however, gets really murky really fast and that's the only big downside. Visibility was 5-6 ft to begin with and quickly changed to about 3 ft by the time we were done.
