SweatHouz Farmington Contrast Therapy Studio
This is now a regular part of my wellness routine, and I usually do it the day that I have my hardest workout. The red light sauna with spa music is super beneficial for my muscles and the cold plunge is ideal for calming my inflammatory response that happens with overexertion. Plus, having a muscle-related autoimmune condition, the cold plunge has really helped with my healing. This is one of my favorite places to be during the week! And the private suites are perfectly appointed with ambient lighting, towels, face wipes, hair ties, deodorant (if you forgot yours), and a refreshing Vitamin C shower. If you need to dry your hair, they have a hair bar with blow dryers which I’ve used a few times. I also enjoy the cooling towel they offer (I usually get the eucalyptus scented one) for cooling down my face during one of my sauna sessions. Sometimes, they even throw me a few extra minutes in my 60 min session and I happily enjoy that! Overall, this has been one of the best investments into myself I’ve made over the past year. Highly recommend it!
My wife and I have been looking for a cost effective way to enjoy contrast therapy. This new location is incredible. Very clean and high end spa rooms with a sauna that gets up to 175 degrees. The cold plunge is filtered and was about 48 degrees. They have a Vitamin C shower in the room as well! The sauna has music and connects to the TV if you want to watch a show or listen to your own music. 1-hour sessions is more than enough for two plunges and lots of sauna time. 8 sessions for $149 a month or $30 for a drop in. Staff was super friendly and tons of available parking!
It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the facility was very clean. The atmosphere was very calming and relaxing and we really enjoyed the amenities that you had to offer. The sauna, cold, plunge, and vitamin C shower were all so nice. It was also nice to be able to adjust the lighting as well as play your own music in the suite. It is nice to have a place to go and just relax and have a complete reset affordably. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!
I loved the experience here. So much so that I immediately committed to the weekly plan. I paid attention to a few sore areas before going and about 3 hours after the cold plunge one of the aches in my knee was gone and the elbow pain went from an 8 to a 3. I'm a believer. The sauna was divine, having the ability to turn up the heat while also making the water colder was a very nice customized experience. Loved the different hydration options at the front and the cold eucalyptus towel was a nice touch.
This place is awesome. Everyone so at least book an introductory session. You have an hour to bounce between infrared sauna, cold plunge, and vitamin c shower. The service was great, and you can even change the temperature of the sauna up to 170°. The cold plunge was also the perfect temperature at 50°, not too cold, but cold enough to reap the benefits. Prices are super reasonable!
